As I posted a while back, this move to Jerusalem was made by another administration. The US recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capitol in 1995, under Bill Clinton. It was called the Jerusalem Embassy Act (1995).

Part of the problem seems to be that news events or media releases are reduced to sound bites of a few seconds in duration. If it requires reading, or more than a minute of their time, they go on to the next newsy tidbit.

i don't know that there is rational basis for anything that goes on between America and Israel. I have yet to hear a good reason for the American bankrolling of this country.

potus IS A /DICATOR........AND HIS SUPPORTERS love it. A yr ago......the world said goodbye to america as we knew it. Now we see even more pronounced abuse of power ...just because they think they can.
His supporters are so bewitched by the economy and any personal benefits it might have for the..........they have lost site of the big picture. (the type of country they now are.)And in their isolationist perspective ........they don't give a damn. They could care less how it affects the rest of the planet.........given how the US has meddled in other places for years. The world will adjust. and if the US chose to be a NUKEE level pariah.........and isolate itself like NK........so be it.
The collective we might do a rethink as to how much we NEED the USS or just want to do business with it. Reducing the NEED might be advisable. There is a lotto be said for self reliance.......IF that is feasible. Co dependent relationships are not always beneficial to both parties........and the US is going the ME first, Me only route. That means it will DICTATE the terms of agreements.
We are seeing a tsunami........as one DICTATOR of a powerful country can create.
