If the toothless hillbillies that support Trump win, no one will be able to read a book by then.

Just out of curiosity, if you hate Trump and don't support him, does that make you a racist? Or have the leftards changed the rules, again!

It's just fascinating that after 8 years of watching race relations in the US go right down the toilet with a race-baiter at the helm, it's suddenly all Trump's fault.

Yep BLM really got their knickers in a knot with a prez that supported them.

Best be careful, everyone even slightly to the right of Chairman Mao can be expect to be called a full blown Nazi in the next few weeks and months. The hysterical left just wants to up the ante.
Must be the economy in the US is doing a little better.

Why are these Confederate generals and politicians depicted in a positive way and not hanging for treason? Let's not pretend that commemorating Confederate leader is historically neutral. It ain't.

Because they were Americans as well ?

Failure to fix the economy guarantees a rise in hatred and racism in equal proportions to the level of hardship and the lost of quality experienced by the population.
Multiculturalism requires Economic growth and prosperity for it to function.

Exactly this.

Not being supportive of Trump has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE. It has EVERYTHING to do with COMPETENCE, skills, leadership effectiveness, diplomatic skills, organizational skills, Sound knowledge base of history, various cultural factors. and a sensitivity to delicate situations. there is NO room for a bully in leadership ......unlesss one is in N.Korea. Or Russia.

It is evident he is NOT a negotiator ........he is a dictator and whats everything HIS way. That is not negotiation. How is "my way or your fired" a negotiating tactic?? what is ones boss functioned that way??

He has turned Washington in to a CRAZINESS not ever seen before. That is psychological craziness......... not to mention SEVERE STUBBORNNESS........It is all ab out HIM It is NOT about the Country.......which it is supposed to be.
Draining the swamp .

superb point. And Trump's sick mind is manipulative to the nth degrees it is not outside the realm of possibility.

BTW: "sick mind " indeed. In fact many news outlets are starting to mention that ........carefully ......but his mental unhealth is being assessed by the public. ( except by his supporters)

It is fascinating and a tad frightening to observe his sick mind and sick words bring out the craziness in the american society. The crazies are crawling out of the woodwork as if they are responding to a leader who understands them. so they feel more confident in emerging more forcefully
BLM and Antifa .

Because the deaths of 600,000+ people were enough. That was the cost of the US Civil War in lives. An equivalent to 3 Million to present day population.

Sorry, I don't quite follow. Were the lives then, 5 times as important as the lives today?

Sorry... the 600,000K figure was (if memory serves me correct) was 3% of the population of the US. That came to 3,000,000 by using the US's modern day population figures.

It was from a book I read.... This Republic of Suffering by Drew Gilpin Faust.

It was about the death toll impact of the US Civil War and its aftermath on US culture.

So, that would also include all the Injuns in America.
Nope. Many tribes and individuals swore allegiance to the United States.

That you didn't even know that basic fact makes me wonder if there's any profit to be had in "debating" the issue with you.

Dude, do the math. It'd be about ten million. Current population of the U.S. is 326,000,000.
