The Long Knives are out for Steve Bannon. It looks to me like Gen. Kelly might be behind it. To me it would be a disastrous move on Trump's part to fire Bannon. Kelly should have no say in the Office of Chief Advisor. The Chief of Staff position is a administrative, not an advisory position.

Kelly is a very capable military leader. You can read that as a conventional, focussed, concrete and practical thinker. Bannon is something different. He is an iconoclast, divergent, abstract and theoretical.

Kelly is well intentioned but he does not really comprehend the revolutionary bent ot Trump's Presidency or his constituency. He has no grasp in the deep undercurrent of resentment and betrayal that Trump has tapped into. Bannon does comprehend it.

If Trump fires Steve Bannon, he will be capitulating to the NeoCons and the NeoLibs (two sides of the same Establishment coin), who are intent of coopting and then destroying his Presidency. More than anything else, it could finish him.

People are exactly what the appear to be. This.. for instance.. a shallow, submissive, self absorbed, vacuous cosmic muffin.

True. If Heather Heyer hadn't been in front of Fields's car, he wouldn't have killed her.

Clearly, it's her own fault.
Clearly if she had stayed home she might have electrocuted herself in the shower , but maybe not .

Just out of curiosity, if you hate Trump and don't support him, does that make you a racist? Or have the leftards changed the rules, again!

It's just fascinating that after 8 years of watching race relations in the US go right down the toilet with a race-baiter at the helm, it's suddenly all Trump's fault.

Yep. LeBron James tweeted that "Trump has made hate fashionable again."

Heh-heh. Turns out Da Mooch got out just in time!
Excellent point about Trump making "hate" fashionable again. Spot on. !!!

It is tragic. Sub social groups are emerging loudly and aggressively and violently.

CDA is not immune..........and like a virus this category of aggression is being activated in some cities in CDA now too.

Maybe CDA should build a wall ...

******

NAFTA discussions are starting today and the US is coming out with a very aggressive e and demanding statement as their opening statement. This is going to get "interesting" as US bully tactics are in full force.

That sorry excuse for a pOTUS should have strayed in his golden tower and continued with his questionable business practices. At least he would not be hurting the country ........that had so much potential. His version of the business model of governing is not working. His personal character flaws prevent him from being an effective leader.

There is a LOT more to governing than the bottom line and stock market.

Facing the bully tactics in the NAFTA negotiations, Canada and Mexico will need to stand united more than ever.

Not being supportive of Trump has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE. It has EVERYTHING to do with COMPETENCE, skills, leadership effectiveness, diplomatic skills, organizational skills, Sound knowledge base of history, various cultural factors. and a sensitivity to delicate situations. there is NO room for a bully in leadership ......unlesss one is in N.Korea. Or Russia.

It is evident he is NOT a negotiator ........he is a dictator and whats everything HIS way. That is not negotiation. How is "my way or your fired" a negotiating tactic?? what is ones boss functioned that way??

He has turned Washington in to a CRAZINESS not ever seen before. That is psychological craziness......... not to mention SEVERE STUBBORNNESS........It is all ab out HIM It is NOT about the Country.......which it is supposed to be.

I think you are misinterpreting some of the reasons for the increase in racism in the US. The election of Obama was a real kick in the gonads for many racists. Suddenly their worst fears were realized as a hated Black American became president. This motivated many of them to come out of the woodwork and become more open in their racism. Trump seemed like an answer to their prayers - a president who not only seemed to understand their hatred, but actually seems to support it. That, coupled with movements in the South to dismantle monuments honouring men who fought for slavery have resulted in a resurgence of the KKK and other White power organizations. This is helped along in the US by the fact that these sorts of racist factions can operate openly due to the American interpretation of freedom of speech.

Now Trump has a sick mind, so it makes it difficult to know if he's stupid too. Sometimes a sick mind can appear stupid when it really isn't. And if he's smarter than he appears, that sick mind could try to kick wedges in between Canada and Mexico.
