That is part of the tax cut rationale though isn't it? You cut taxes to stimulate the economy and tax revenue goes up as more wealth is created. So in a way, the budget balances itself. At least that's what I've heard from people who care about those things. Trumpites don't actually care that Trump is exploding the government debt.

Not publicly but, clearly he and Trudeau are on the same page when it comes to the deficit. True conservatives like me would address the spending side of the equation instead of allowing such an expansion of the deficit.
Of course, alot of Trumpites are seniors that love the trough. Most are social conservatives that only care about abortion and brown people and not fiscal responsibility. I know that statement will make the Trumpites sniffly but you'll notice you all run away from the issue of debt. You just don't care because it isn't Liberal or Democrat debt.
