We've been saying for a year now that Trumpites are left-wing. Their embrace of deficits and debt has proven us right.

Bush Jr. ran the deficits way the hell up, too. The GOP talk the talk but don't walk the ... Uno.

He most certainly did not! Texas families only care about oil and wetbacks. You wanna talk running up accounts? Try the families living around English bay! Old money and bad spending habits!

In spite of what the Yuppies of English Bay may have wanted, they did not wage two separate wars simultaneously on the other side of the planet, resupplying their armies by air lift. Talk about historic stupid ...

It's not very useful. Nobody but a blithering idiot occupies a stolid position on that spectrum. Most of us hold a complex of beliefs both the "right" and the "left".

The problem is that left/right is an oversimplification. It's always amused me that "conservatives" like building prisons, executing people and other things that take power from the people and hand it to the gubmint, All the while complaining about how useless government is. None of them can explain it. None of them even try. I suspect they secretly love government and just don't want to admit it.

It was pretty sombre around the bay in the summer of 1968.

But I remember saying to Ted that I loved to play the violin. He gave me a sad smile and opened a big bag of M&Ms.

Anyone who played the violin could make him melt. Of all the Kennedy boys, he was the one who wore his heart on his sleeve. That gave his dry cleaner fits, trying to get the stains out.
