No, but tax havens are a Conservative talking point priority. The Cons can't abandon their entire agenda, there'll be nothing left but pretending they'll cut taxes and ruin our healthcare system.
It's clear that you have significant cognitive deficiencies when it come to political parties and economics

(1) There is essentially no real differences in the platforms of political parties as they are lead by actual politicians, which by definition, are among the lowest form of citizens in any nation and lack any real moral or ethical compass

(2) Money is easily transferred anywhere globally, let alone convertible to a form that retains that value without being actual cash and can be made non visible to the tax authorities.

Entitlements are likely the main reason why Canada has the highest quality of life in the world for 4 years running. Are you suggesting we destroy that record by cutting socially responsible entitlements?
You will soon find out that your newest entitlement will be that of being impoverished and beggared due to electing a failed, part time, substitute drama teacher to lead the nation.

... Enjoy

I would increase them and take it off the backs of Canada's very wealthy.
'The Wealthy' will either leave or transfer their money offshore and out of reach of the CRA. Interestingly, that money will have a big benefit in the jurisdiction where it lands.. It's really that simple

You may be a lot happier if you move to the US?.

There are so many alternatives to the location(s) one can choose, no one is limited to the USA

Entitlements are really great ....if you have the money. Canada doesn't, and no amount of taxation will get us there, particularly given the trajectory that Trudeau has put this country on. Under the current Liberals and the clueless buffoon we have running the party, we were given a promise of a "modest" deficit of 20 billion dollars, but that promise was quickly broken when the deficit went to $40,000,000,000, which then magically went to $48,000,000,000, then to $343,000,000,000, and now were at about $400,000,000,000.

And how do the Liberals justify this gross overspending and it's impact on Canadians? Well, up until a year ago it was the debt to GDP ratio, a flawed narrative which they clung to and flogged for the first few years. But it became obvious that the Liberal spending is way too out of control to use that line any more. They didn't save for a rainy day (or a pandemic). So now you have our newly minted short skirt and cowboy boot wearing, cottage cheese thigh flashing "finance minister" lecturing to us like kindergarten students that "it's okay because interest rates have never been lower." You know what that means?? It means there's only one way for interest rates to go...and it's not down.

I think it may be wise for you to temper your expectations on social spending going forward. And if you're so keen on higher taxes which it appears you are....boy are you're in luck. I suspect we will all be paying much higher taxes down the road.

You're suggesting the Liberal party is perfect when it's not yet. There are progressive changes coming that will make us even better. We need to look closely at how much money the very wealthy are allowed to keep for theirs, when we're in a situation with even bigger bills to be paid due to Covid spending.

Would you propose to tax the poor and middle class more?
What makes you think you are entitled to take a large monetary chunk of the rich's ingenuity and hard work

For a former drama teacher the 5 years as PM has done nothing for his speaking skills. Um, uh, ah in every sentence. Then the pauses that make you think he might have had a stroke.

Trudeau's major accomplishment over the 4 years has been to be much less of an idiot that Donald Trump. :)

Ummm , Are you getting senile ? Trudeau’s major accomplishment was the ethics violations and he certainly does not have 71 million followers .

But it was a promise kept . Cannot recall others , no proportional representation, certainly not honest and open , something appears missing in the transparency thing . Like transparency. Budgets sure aren’t balancing themselves .
still waiting for Mentalfloss to list all these promises kept and compare them to the Orangemans .
