And the bullsh*t begins.

Your introduction is noted and your expertise in the matter is in no doubt. You will of course confine your communications to the one line variety favoured by establishment trolls. F O FOOL

while Russia is bombing terrorists
the nato coalition is bombing:
WATER and electrical generation and WEDDINGS
and dropping arms to the terrorists and giving them toyota trucks

while Israeli generals are being captured fighting for ISIS
Breaking: Israeli General Commanding ISIS Captured in Iraq | Veterans Today

then there is the refugee bomb aimed at europe
oh well when you have no manufacturing base.....

Isn't it possible that the Isisreali officer was kidnapped elsewhere and dropped into the capture position just to try and make our friends and allies the Isisrealis look bad?

Did anyone mention the cancellation of the Canadain order for F-35s promised by Trudeau?

He's not the only one laughing himself silly.

True. All the other rulers of third world countries where we were trying to help democracy will be jumping with glee.

What does anyone think the 'mission against ISIS' is accomplishing?

SFA, other than to keep the West mired in yet another of the many-layered fukups in the middle east.

Face it, the West has no friends and no allies in the middle east, we're far better off staying the fuk out.

Except Israel. The only democracy in the area.

So, in order to become a Canadian you have to survive ISholes first? That is a humane offering? It sounds like a game show in some sci-fi Arnold type movie.

Why fight ISIS in Iraq and Syria when he is doubling the refugees - he can fight them here.

YES That is what we will be doing at some future time!
I wish we could get out of the Middle East altogether, bring our military home and seal our own borders against questionable immigrants.
The Mid-eastern countries have been fighting since time began. It is their culture fueled by their religion. They will always fight and if not on their own soil they will fight wherever they are.
Why is it that other religions that were barbaric centuries ago have mellowed and do not kill each other any more? We have countrless religious sects residing in Canada that all get along and obey our laws. Why has Islam never evolved? They still strive to convert or kill everyone who does not subscribe to their beliefs.

I'm all for Immigration, Canada has brought thousands from Asia, India and European countries, I just think Canada should reconsider immigrates from countries that breed terrorism.

But like Trudeau Sr., I don't expect Jr., to be much better.

Multiculturalism was is legacy, not Canadian Culture.

Wow...more harpo supporters on here than a rat has fleas....typical of conns...individuals with no hope vision, humanity or anything but hate!!!

Actually it is the conservatives that have hope, vision and a sincere desire to help humanity. The left only wants a free ride while destroying all the great things we have made.

What should be in the 1st book we throw at them, 'How to drive in the East.'?

Oh for Pete's sake the university kids did a lot of damage to the Tories on the phones
in social media. They are in favor of refugees many do not want us in the Middle East
period and the Putin thing that is something else. The Harper/Putin nonsense was a
figment of people imagination. Harper standing up to him Harper was a bag of hot air.
No one on the world stage took him seriously not even most Canadians. Besides his
leash the Americans had him on was coming to the end anyway.
Having said this I do believe we should be in the fight against ISIS but clearly the vast
majority of Canadians do not agree. That little thing called democracy keeps getting
in the way of the old Conservative agenda. The fact is the Tory days are behind us and
there is a new mood for change. Harper's vision was not the vision of most of us.
The election demonstrated that.

Kids? The ones who voted out of spite but aren't sure why?

Did these kids make obligations to ensuring there even will be refugees to take in?

Taking away the ability to escape under the protection of jet fighters is a death sentence for anything trying the escape.

So you are in favour of totally ignoring the wishes of five million Canadians! I thought this was a democracy. :)

Our back yard is a freakin disaster (thanks to the last few Glib & Con gov'ts). I would much prefer to get IT sorted out before anything else. That means not accepting people into Canada that are not likely to help us sort our backyard, staying the heck out of other countries' business and not handing our resources over to any old global corporation, etc. etc.
A few years ago, our healthcare was among the top 5 in the world. The last assessment I saw had us at 39th and THAT happened in the space of about 3 years and the Babyboomers will soon hit the healthcare systems in a huge way.
Fortunately, our unis are pretty good in comparison to other OECD countries (we are 2nd from top I think) and we have 4 unis in the top 100 in the ARWU rankings. But our students PAY DEARLY for it. Unfrotunately, our K12 is not up to the same level. I think we are 8th or 9th (out of 16 or 17) in the OECD.
I could probably think of more ways we could improve given a little time, too.

A bit late for that now.

May I ask... where will Canada put 25,000 Syrians?
