Immigrants pay very little taxes, they are a user of gov services and don't pay enough taxes to cover the cost of the services that they use.
First, many are often on social assistance and many make a low wage and have a lot of kids which puts them in the no tax category.
Significantly, the budget allocates $173.2 million dollars for security operations at the border and for processing at IRB. Of that, $74 million dollars will be spent over the next two years on irregular migration.
Why the hell can't we just call it what it is? Camouflaging illegal migration with politically sensitive terms in order to mask the problem only adds to the problem, and desensitizes shallow thinking people to a gaping hole in our immigration system. It's disingenuous and insidious.
