Oh, so that make it fine for them to come back after committing crimes against our country, to use our free healthcare and all the other goodies. We don't offer this to our normal petty criminals
Um, no. You ain't real bright, are you?

But then, we already have ample evidence of that.

How many of 'em have caused trouble so far?

The 180 went there to enforce the superiority of the ISIS ideology on the locals in the Sinjar Region especially. Whether they were as something insignificant like a guard, cook, janitor, etc..., they went there on their own accord and contributed to the brutality that happened there.

They should be held accountable for their choices. We arrested people for allegedly attempting to go there so we should arrest them when they return for having actually been there.

Do you feel the same way about other mercenaries?

Can’t a super bright internet lawyer not argue the idea , you’ve already established superior intelligence yet continue to hang the messenger. I am sure glad you aren’t the queen .

I would, if Dummy had an idea in his life.

Nice to see you and Dummy getting all buddy-buddy, though. Birds of a feather should flock together.

OK, full credit to you for consistency.

Thanks

There was this one guy i worked with at my last job who actually said he was contracted out for Xe, or whatever they are calling it now.

He said it was kinda cool that when they were in an escort convoy from the airport to a compound that they wouldn't stop for anything including civilians. He laughed when i asked if they ran over regular people. I thought that was kinda messed. up. I didn't respect him but there were a lot of people who did, which i thought was messed up.

The guy was involved in murders.

Never thought much of mercs. As far as I'm concerned, their flag has a dollar (or euro) sign on it, and I wouldn't cross the street to piss on one if he was on fire. When he got his pay, he got everything he deserved.

Welcoming back people who went to join ISIS was a smart move you think?

Well, it's not really that simple but, yes. Anybody that knows anything about history knows the difference in approaches taken with Germany post WWI and WWII. Why should those that fought for ISIS be treated any different than Japanese or German soldiers. Clearly the Japanese were fanatical.

They should be held accountable for their choices. We arrested people for allegedly attempting to go there so we should arrest them when they return for having actually been there.

Should we have held all Axis soldiers "accountable"?

I understand History.

In your example there are more differences than similarities.

We are at war with ISIS. The canadians who went there committed treason.

In WW2 Kanao Inouye was executed for treason. These kids who went to join ISIS betrayed our country the same as the example i have given. They should be jailed, not allowed to walk free.

Unlike the Japanese and Germans, the soldiers of ISIS were and are not part of any sovereign nation but are instead irregulars and not protected by the Geneva Convention. The 180 Canadians who went to fight for our enemy as irregulars forfeited their rights.

The rest i have to say about this, i've already said.
