I bet you'd blow several gaskets if someone were to park in your assigned spot, broke into your home and stole your stuff, or came down from the nosebleed seats at a concert and took your floor seat and we're to use the excuse they needed a better parking spot for their family, a bigger TV and softer sofa for their grandmother, or have bad eyes and needed your seat to see better.

You're funny. intentional misunderstanding is your specialty. You could become a laywer with that ability, you know?

I feel no need to justify why I feel it's ok to break the law in some cases nor do feel any need what so ever for you to agree with me. I've explained, I feel it's ok for certain acts of lawlessness and you are free to disagree. I don't think you would agree with me regardless of what facts, information, picture or what have you that I were to present. That's just the way it is, for you, for me.

but for others:

I've run into a few people like that, (Mark Emery for starters) they figure laws are for the other lower forms of humanity. :) :)

Yep, so did Rosa Parks, every women in the Suffragette movement and a number of others. Good thing too, wouldn't you say? If it weren't for some, your wife wouldn't be allowed to vote, or have any rights other then being your property.

Everyone in the following link Twila posted never ran away from what they did but used the system to change the system and all of them did it on behalf of others not for self preservation and selfishness.

yes, cause making sure you stay alive long enough to raise your children is defo selfish. Course not all of them, but then not all of them are illegals. assumptions will be the death of you, man.

Just cause you don't like my view, is no reason to get all upset.

Can't you agree to disagree?

Who is going to lose their life being an illegal alien in the US therefore they see the need to illegally enter Canada?

These people are not refugees, they are asylum seekers.

I hear you & have no problem with Rosa Parks, that's how progress is made. Mark Emery broke another country's laws which in my opinion is both presumptuous and stupid. :) :)

Rosa Parks broke the Jim Crow laws of her country, as well.

Yup but she didn't run away to Canada.

I'm sure that she woudda if she coudda. Generations of Blacks did come here to escape United States law. The immediate neighbourhood that I live in was a terminus of the Underground Railroad 160 years ago but Black refugees to this place go way back before that.

perspective...yours is different. you assume they're all criminals. I don't. Being in a country illegal is not a big deal to me. Seeking a better life for you and your family is not something I'd consider criminal.

Borders? meh, what ever.
Taxes meh whatever .

They are illegal scum bags looking for Christians to look after them.
Send them back across the border and back to where they came from.

It was called Upper Canada and yes, it was one of the four colonies that joined together to form the federation that us Canadians call a country.

What about your country? How did it start out? Thirteen colonies, I believe?

If that's the case, then why you upset? It doesn't affect you.

I think you are absolutely correct, Twila, but I do have one concern- when a large bunch of legitimate people are travelling en masse I'd be a little leery of "add ons" travelling as part of the main group who may have nefarious intentions. :)

they don't have to be illegal to loose their lives in the US. They just have to appear to be illegals. I'd imagine it must be very scary for someone from Sudan in the US illegally given their experience in their home country.

I imagine it was very very scary for the Indian engineer in Kentucky just before who was shot dead.

so? Not everyone is a warrior. Nor should everyone be a warrior.

She also ended up destitute.
