Oh Look! Another asshole came out to play. Unfortunately, I don't play with assholes. You can crawl back under your rock now.

Are you going to cry when the pipeline gets completed ? Or are you going to keep up you’re crying until it is completed ?

How much money did the tax payers shell out in order to have Harper and his entire band of yes men stump for oil?

The entire federal government worked for oil.

Shameful. I'm glad they got destroyed.

We noticed you don't like governments that look after the country"s best interests. You should thank Harper every time mummy drives you to school.

Thousands and thousands more tax payer dollars spent in order to help Kinder Morgan.

Think we'll get a "Thank You"?

So bill the protestors or take it out of their welfare cheques.

"The state is extremely dependent on oil tankers

B.C. can easily fill its gas stations without a single oil tanker entering the Salish Sea. Thanks to the energy superpower just over the Rocky Mountains, up to 90 per cent of B.C.’s fuel already arrives overland from Alberta via pipeline or by rail. Not so for Washington State. The state has no permanent connection to the U.S. oil market, and relies entirely on oil trains, oil tankers and the existing Trans Mountain pipeline to supply its refineries. In 2017, inbound oil tankers were responsible for 46 per cent of Washington State’s crude oil imports. And yes, this does indeed include tankers full of diluted bitumen from the existing Trans Mountain network. In fact, along with California and Asia, Washington State has been cited by Kinder Morgan as one of the target customers of the project."

"Poor Rachel Notley. She’s spent so much of her political career telling people about the importance of social licence only to find out, in her hour of need, that the federal government won’t get her one.

No one would ever confuse the premier of Alberta for a stalwart friend of the province’s energy sector. But since this former oilsands critic became premier she has, at least, acknowledged a more realistic view of fossil fuels and their importance to a modern economy, and the need to get her province’s oil to tidewater for export. But she also told Albertans they would need to make sacrifices to win over opponents, demonstrating the province’s environmental bona fides, never mind the fact that Alberta’s oil was already the most environmentally friendly petroleum in the world. She imposed a carbon tax. She put caps on the oil sands. Albertans paid dearly for her plan.

Alas, all those efforts have bought little support from B.C, where Notley’s fellow NDP premier, propped up by a handful of Green MLAs, isn’t about to let Alberta make any progress on the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion. The federal government, too, despite the occasional supportive grunt, certainly doesn’t seem inclined to do much more than offer repeated, vague restatements about approved projects needing to move ahead."

Every day they are going to arrest the protest leaders and as a term of their bail/release they will be forbidden to participate or even be close to any protest in the future.

It may take a short while, but the Trudeau mission will be accomplished because of no leadership.

Imagine an NDP premier and a handful of Green MLA's doing what their constituents elected them to do.

Imagine trying to blame the resistance to the pipeline on politicians.

Demonstrates a complete lack of understanding.

There is little resistance to the pipeline. Waldo likes to make up stories and try to get the grown ups upset, but he fails miserably.

Waldo and Flossy: losers.

I want him to hold his breath until people pay attention to him.

RCMP arrest pipeline protesters at Kinder Morgan site in Burnaby

Burnaby RCMP began arresting protesters on Saturday for violating the terms of an injunction ordering people to stay at least five metres from sites where work has begun in Burnaby on the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion.

Just wait and watch, the IDIOT protestors will be the first ones to scream and holler when the price of gas goes up!

Smurphy goes out of his way to prove Hawking right about human stupidity. Way to go Smurphy.

To my way of thinking Murphy makes about as much sense as anyone on this site! If you pay attention you might learn something from him!
