He does, and I do believe that he has done good in the world. He's employed a great number of people with his many businesses, he has raised a great deal of money through charities, he is obviously very apt at branding his name. And I do believe he has inspired people to better their lives. So there's that.... it was like pulling teeth but there I said it lol. ALTHOUGH many of his dealings HAVE come under scrutiny. I couldn't resist that tag.
As far as him having had the "talent" to become President? Eh, that's a tough one for me. I see Trumps success in being elected as more of a result of tapping into America's hatred, and yes their frustrations as well, but more so their hatred. And I don't say that in a derogatory way, or maybe I do somewhat but don't want to if that makes sense. But I do think he tapped into hatred and intolerance with his rhetoric about Mexicans being rapists and drug dealers, all Muslims being bad (reflective in his Muslim travel ban) and how the Dems want to destroy their lives. He was belligerent, insulting and dismissive in all televised debates and many Americans saw that as something fresh and new. Someone running for office was saying what they said at home. Someone was emulating them and they liked it. Some however who did vote for him later came to regret it, but that's another conversation.
So what some see as talent, which is fine, others see as appealing to like minded people. But yep, he did it, he won and that can't be taken away from him. Or can it? Lol, one can dream.
