No problem, you just recategorize your "needs" and "wants".

Exactly, and that is what causes an economy to slow down, when consumer spending is down because people have to prioritize what they spend their money on. One-third of consumer spending in the USA is on personal consumption expenditures, goods both durable and non-durable. And when people have less money to spend it has a ripple effect.

Approval ratings are different than popularity ratings. Most of America's voters disapprove of Trump regardless of his popularity.

I'm not sure that, that means a whole lot. How many of those Americans would be capable of doing a job voters would approve of? 5%?

this is the argument for forgiving student debt.

Employment. Big deal. There's lots more to a country than employment. And America's infrastructure is in ruins along with its education system, its healthcare, the FDA, nat'l debt, the deficit, crime rate has gone up the past couple years, etc.
No job , no money , no money , no funny . Yes American government spending is out of control , and has been for a long time . Healthcare is an issue , but the majority of Americans have excellent coverage through their employers . Those people do not have the same waiting period that our universal system has . For them there is no incentive to change ..
As for education I believe it is a states issue . And from my readings in the gun control thread crime rates are down in the States .

So you posting here longer than some others means you are more important? Oh okay then. So common sense would dictate that since I am so beneath your standards because I am new to this forum, you wouldn't engage with me at all? Why continue engaging with me? Why do you even care what I have to say? I care what you have to say, if you actually said something other than insults. You following me or me following you, see it as you like to, it's all good. Happy to bring you joy, and I know who I am so I'm all set.
Get off the pot . I have no time for you .

Actually consumer spending is the driving force, and yes employment translates to more spending but that depends on how much disposable income one has. And if prices increase because of things like oh, trade wars, then people have less disposable income. So employment numbers can be high but that doesn't always mean spending is.

Spending is important up until the time you have everything you need and once that point is reached, you can live quite well just doing a little maintenance spending, groceries, health care, a few repairs, a little on amusement etc.

Lol, you don't have time for me yet here you are still seeking me out and posting to me, seems you on fact do have time for me so who's on the pot? You or I?

I'll tell you what pgs, I have an offer for ya. Since you obviously do have time for me despite your claim otherwise (I mean, here you are am I right?) why don't you stop with the all the childish posturing and bullying nonsense and lets get back to what started this all to begin with..... Having the conversation about the nepotism that had you so riled up concerning Biden but that Trump gets a pass on? I'll wait for that conversation to take place okay? And until then I'll go ahead and bypass all your posturing and bullying posts, how does that sound? Sounds good to me.

In the meantime I'm going to go talk with the other grown-ups now okay?

Which means less is being put back into the economy. The economy depends on people spending their money.

I think we are a long, long way from that becoming a problem, as the # of high interest loans can attest to. The average Canadian is about 50 grand in debt aside from any mortgage. What do you think is wiser, borrowing money at 20 - 30% interest or saving until you can pay cash. I much prefer the latter, and end up with more money in my pocket in the end. It would be interesting to find out how much money is tied up in bad debt in our country! I would guess $100 million or more for starters!

Northern Ontario,
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this entire impeachment bull shit get thrown out in the next few days!
The way the Senate is handling it is turning out to be a farce!
A provincial judge once told me that Justice must not only be fair and just
But also have the appearance of beeing fair and just.
So far the senate is failing unless they change their course of action!
