Communists throughout history have been all "Us" till they get to power, then the last "US" gets bumped off, and ( see the Chinese ruler, recently decreed ruler for life) and then it becomes all me me me then.

Ahhh, perceptions; while it's true that the Liberals used to stand for "us", they are now so far left that the "us" has become "me". The Conservatives are perceived to be more "me" when in actual fact they are the more "us". But, unfortunately both left and right have now become "extreme" to those who do not agree with whatever ideology each side presents thus eliminating those of us who are neither "left or right" and more centrists. Reason has gone out the window after common sense and there doesn't seem to be any coming back from that.


I have come to believe that this has been done on purpose by those of the Soros ilk; extremely rich individuals who want to create chaos at the public's expense to line their pockets. Soros, as an example, didn't become so rich by being Mr. nice guy and, in fact, destroyed people and economies at his whim for profit.


Trump is a different animal but it looks as though he's doing the same thing; the difference is that he feels he's doing good but his ego and lack of character will end up doing exactly what Soros does on purpose.


I don't believe I'm a "conspiracy" freak but there are things happening in our society that do not bod well for us. Unfortunately, the people who should care and are in the position to do something about it prefer to either lie about what's happening or bury their heads in the sand.


I, for one, am for change; change to the betterment of society as a whole. But what we have here is change which is detrimental overall to our society and our country and that is not good, especially since we have a clown at the head of the table!!

A good sensible post as always, Dixie! Maybe I'm crazy, but I've been hoping Trump will use July 4 to enhance his popularity by revoking the tariffs! On second thought that would probably piss off his own people. Maybe Canadians can use their own resourcefulness to offset the effects. A good and fairly simple way to start would be NO HEINZ PURCHASES.

It sounds like you are so far to the right that most parties are to your left. By world standards the Liberals are a moderate left party.

I really don't believe you even know what "right or left" means anymore. Those words are simply words people use to denigrate others and offers no constructive ideas.

When you are looking north, left is to the west and right is to the east. THAT is ALL they mean! :lol:
