I took it that was your first reply after a long delay. I was wondering if that was the introduction to 'your thoughts on the subject' or if that post was already the whole of your thoughts on the subject.

Well with the Caspian Sea Fleet firing cruise missiles I think there is a darn good chance the Admiral Kuznetsov gets hit! lol

Of course they would be. But in Syria... not a chance. The Iranians however, they've never been that smart.
It would be like a General from Alberta being killed on the front lines in Montana helping the locals defend themselves from the hoards coming from the south or east.

Neither actually.

Russian strikes have already caused extensive damage to IS infrastructure, with roughly 140 being carried out since the campaign began. These sorties have already proven more successful than the year-long campaign conducted by the US-led coalition.
On Friday, the Obama administration announced it was shutting down the Pentagon’s infamously troubled plan to train and arm so-called “moderate” Syrian rebels. This followed reports from newspaper DWN, claiming that Obama’s top-level advisors were advising a complete US military withdrawal from Syria.
On the other hand, Russian airstrikes will continue until IS is eliminated.

Neither actually.
I'll look forward to the next installment then.

Sure it could happen. CNN might even run the story even if it never happens. All the seas in the ME are very close to shore based batterys of a huge collection of missiles so anyone with ships is likely to be stung real quick.

The Iranians very smart, they have survived close quarters with the scum hole Israel for a very long time the Israelis never stop whineing about Iran because that is all they can do, and they know it. You should reconsider your take on this war situation and pray it dosn't get out of hand because if it does things will be very bad for a long time on ALL sides.

So you cannot answer my question. I see.

Anyways, Syrian exports add up to about $3 billion and immports up to about $9 billion. It's a taker, not a giver. But it's main export is crude. THAT makes it important to the USA, Russia, etc.

I've never paid real close attention to Israel, except I know it is the adopted land of the Jews. Years ago Israel used to be the good guys and the Palestinians were the A$$holes. Has that changed?

Especially if the Russians are firing them. Their Caspian Sea Fleet just might hit their Mediterranean Fleet!

Close quarters? Have you looked at a map recently? The Iranians aren't smart at all. They lost one of their generals and are bogged down in Yemen. Sunnis do a pretty good job at tooling Shias. That's why the Russians are there.

My take on the war situation is let the Russians and Iranians do as they wish in Syria.

Rephrase it and I'll give it another try.

Syria also 'owns' the Golan Heights so that income goes to them rather than to Israel. At present their activities are an (unenforced) war crime) The 'big money' for the area will come from 'fines laid on the 5 Arab States that supported the 'Arab Spring' for the last 5 years running. That will pay for the reconstruction of the cities damaged in that period of time rather than the locals going back and living in the places that resemble parts of Gaza. A 20 year boom (sarcasm included for free) would see the whole area transform itself into a 22nd century place where 'social welfare' is a liberal as it was in Libya before they were recently 'freed from oppression'. The US and other NATO countries can bid on as many 'contracts' as they want, they won't be awarded any. Germany might get some spin-off from the EU/China rail/pipeline contracts.

Blackleaf would be proud of you and because you didn't post the whole site you don't have to give yourself a week off. That is either really good planning or you missed a golden opportunity to use a loop-hole.

Strategic Engineered Migration as Weapon of War

Researchers have discovered a very interesting fact related to the use of social networking sites. It has come to light that calls on Twitter for refugees to travel to Germany have mostly come from the US. The time spent practising in other countries has not been in vain – from Iran during the 2009 presidential elections to Egypt and Tunisia, where the role played by social networking sites in mobilising the population was considerable.
What we are seeing now is the practical implementation of theoretical calculations of a strategic nature. Such strategies have been under development for a long time. One of them is a study by the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University that bears the name “Strategic Engineered Migration as a Weapon of War“, which the author also uses for the title of this article. The study was first published in 2008 in the Civil Wars journal. Using a combination of statistical data and case study analysis, the author of the work, Kelly Greenhill, provides answers to the following questions: can refugees be a specific type of weapon, can this weapon only be used in wartime or in peacetime as well, and just how successful can its exploitation be? On the whole, Greenhill answers these questions in the affirmative.

Not that they did but it would be two faced of NATO to promote that as 'unacceptable' as they regularly bomb hospitals such as recently in Afghanistan and Yemen and Iraq and Libya and etc.

Perhaps the thing to do would be to move the injured and ill people into military bases if Putin's kids are targeting hospitals.
