Re: Trump suggests assassinating Clinton

I think a lot of 'defenders' are missing the point.

Whether Trump meant what he said or not doesn't matter. Whether he said it as a joke or not doesn't matter. Sane people know Trump is a damned moron at best, a dangerous, fearful, biggoted cheezie at worst.

The point is he has followers who will take it to mean that yes, someone should assassinate Hillary.

That is what the real issue behind this is and should be the focus of.

While Hillary may be a not great person, she truly is the lesser of the very, very tangible evil that Trump is. This is a man who advocates murder, who thinks he can get away with murder, who is a sexist and racist pig and doesn't care what people think, he's a liar, a thief and even a possible traitor.

Anyone who supports him as the "ideal" person for President of the US, is not only, IMO, questionably insane themselves, but also nowhere near what an "American" is supposed to be.
I guess you don't want Trump as president , to bad you don't get to vote .
Just curious though how would you feel about president Cruz ?

Is it any wonder that the U.S. is 37th in the world in education? The ability to apply critical thinking at a time like this is paramount. But then, it would not take a great deal of thinking for anyone with reason to see that Trump is a fraud of the highest order. The emaciation of the educational system int he U.S. has created a population who is self-involved, self-ingratiating, "all about me" thinking and they identify with this embarrassment of a candidate. You have to be mentally decrepit to agree with Trump. This clearly shows that the U.S. is in a lot of trouble when it cannot even deal with a carnival barker like Trump. Lack of education has created a nation of very foolish people and, they will get the government they deserve. Better prepare to reinforce our border entry points.[/I][/FONT]
You could as easily substitute Canada and Trudeau in those comments .

Re: Trump suggests assassinating Clinton

The 2nd amendment is about resistance to a corrupt government, armed resistance would be the last option rather than the first. Nice to see who latches onto the worst meaning as it shows how out of touch they really are.

The Six Things Americans Should Know About the Second Amendment, by Richard W. Stevens

How do you get that it's about resistance to a corrupt government? Nothing in the Amendment refers to that.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Even if Trump was referring to the voting power of the NRA, it's easy to see how some could misinterpret it as a call to arms.

One would hope that the President of the USA would know how to choose his words more carefully to avoid such dangerous ambiguities.

Re: Trump's economic plan was a huge mistake

Let's start with these Qs

  1. Where was the national economy at the time?
  2. Quality of these jobs (as per annual income)?
  3. F/t or P/T?
Don't be silly. Job creation has little or nothing to do with the president or his/her policies.

Obama is a liar.

Trump is a liar.

Clinton is a liar (both of them).

Questions?

Gee, ya think? I don't look at it as 'too bad I don't get to vote' because that means I don't live anyplace where he can directly influence.

As for 'president Cruz'... A lesser wingnut but still a wingnut. IMO there is no one who is viable for President of the US. The US needs an actual leader and no one has that potential. Unfortunately there's only two choices (well three if you go Independent which is pointless) and as much as I don't like Hillary, she's at least better than the Cheezie.

Oh that's a crock of BS - Trudeau may be a lot of things, but he's nowhere NEAR Trump's level of complete psychotic behavior.

Re: Trump suggests assassinating Clinton

what difference at this point does it make?

Imagine Prez Trump making a comment that can be interpreted to be referring to either civilian nuclear power or nuclear weapons.

For example, we'll deliver some nuke to North Korea.

Does he mean open up for civilian nuclear trade or does he mean launch a nuclear attack.

Trump could start WWIII if he's bit careful with his words.

Trump Just Told His Supporters That Assassinating Hillary Clinton Is An Option

Trump Just Told His Supporters That Assassinating Hillary Clinton Is An Option

That's bull sh*t, he never said that at all. This irresponsible reporting is exactly how rumours get started. Trump made a statement that he KNEW could be taken a number of ways and dropped it. He didn't advocate doing anything.

Trump could start WWIII if he's bit careful with his words.

I don't think so - a move that drastic would require Congress' blessing, NO?

Trump is in charge of nothing but his business , Trudeau is PM of our country . Big difference in my books .

Yup and president McCain or Romney . Your disdain for Trump is just an outlet for your disdain for all things conservative .
Trump in all his years as a media darling was never once called a racist , yet now I can't pick up a newspaper without seeing racist all over it .
You would have the same rabid hatred for whomever the republicans choose as nominee .

Trump: verbatim speech "Hillary want's to abolish the second amendment....if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks.....Although the Second Amendment people - maybe there is, I don't Know?" How do 'I' interpret this? To me, It is clear what he meant, especially coming from a character like Trump!! But I believe he was trying to be witty and funny, but instead he's provoking danger, especially amongst some of the empty headed fools following him around the country; this joke is a dangerous one.

So you are saying anytime a President wants to start War it can be done with no other input?

I think the worst thing he meant was to be vague! :)

I'm pretty sure that when he was just a young real estate mogul, he was in trouble for their racist renting rules.

Some people listen to his speeches over and over to find something wrong they they can cry about...
It's a wonder they haven't played recordings of his speeches backwards to prove he's the devil....

Ooops.... maybe I shouldn't have said that....leftoids will grab at any straw to demonize him

Addendum: someone has already done it.....

What he said was carefully chosen to b deliberately vague, but also to suggest to people who are already unhinged, what they should do.

If he wins the election, there will be turmoil in the stock markets, because every hour he will say something ridiculous.

There's already turmoil in the markets and Trump has nothing to do with the numbers. As for US presidents saying rediculous things this is the norm, it's part of the selection process. How many times I've heard everyone of them say, "The United States of America is the greatest democracy the world has or will ever know". Now that's as unmistakably rediculous as you can find anywhere in this solar system.

Presidents do not control the money or the markets. It's the other way arround.
