The answer is obvious; you change the government. But good luck doing that in the USA, especially given the fact that years of unrelenting patriotic propaganda have most Americans believing that the USA is the most democratic and egalitarian nation on the face of the planet and that in spite of massive evidence to the contrary their government is just perfect the way it is.

What the USA needs in order to change the system is a number of constitutional amendments to make the government more democratic; but when was the last time anyone of note in the USA mentioned the need for a single change? And why should they? The very wealthy, the giant corporations, and the legislators who serve them are just fine thank you. And to hell with anyone else.

Without that unrelenting patriotic propaganda, how would they ever find fodder to keep their biggest industry going?

Once upon a time, I never heard a single word against their government, politicians, from Americans. This has changed in the past 10 years or so. After the recent debacle about raising the debt ceiling to allow the government to pay the bills, will perhaps deprogram a few more.

The only place in the entire piece where a specific charge is made is the following paragraph.......

Today, the lies continue, as they must, even though journalists, bloggers and other malcontents desperately chip away at the facade. The raid into Pakistan to capture Bin Laden is revealed to have been not a one-off military adventure, but part of an on-going campaign of covert military intervention in 120 countries around the world on the part of a highly organized and secretly funded cadre of 15,000 specially trained soldiers let loose on the world. There was never any intent to capture Bin Laden alive. The goal of the raid was to kill this living embarrassment to the United States government and remove any chance that he might say something awkward and revealing before he died of kidney failure on his own.

Not only were the intentions of the gov't clearly stated (to pursue and kill terrorists where ever, to pursue American interests with vigor), but Bush was ELECTED to his second term on those terms.....

The fact is the only ones that think they were lied to are the lefty useful idiots that think terrorism is a judicial matter, and don't like the fact of Bush's second election......

As for no intention of taking bin Laden alive, OF COURSE NOT. Obama lied, because he is an idiot. No one with an IQ larger than their shoe size thought they went there to capture him, and give him a trial in which he could grandstand his views, and be the inspiration for untold future acts of terror.

well, there are a LOT of stupid humanoids that believe everything their lying gov't tells tells them. They have been brainwashed to do just that ......ergo the blind flag waving , drum beating patriotism. Without that kind of "conditioning" the US gov't would never have gotten away with all the nasty business that they have.

many are starting to come out of this programmed coma now......and are getting angry. but they can't get too angry or they will be treated like home grown threats "to security".......and bring the force of martial law into action.

Even all that talk of "liberty and freedom" is one huge lie. They are "free" as long as they comply to all the "national security" rules in effect........which are getting more intrusive & controlling all the time.

The founding fathers would be horrified if they knew how convoluted their ideals have become.

And yes........the OBL scenario is right out of a horror story. NO civilized nation would have set up a deliberate pre-meditated murder (assassination) to deal with an ACCUSED SUSPECT like that. No trial, no evidence, .........just cold blooded MURDER in front of his family and shot at point blank......when the accused was weakened by illlness and UNARMED.

THere is no way one can view "america" the same way anymore. The barbaric side has shown its ugly head .

In some ways it is poetic justice that the same seals that did this died in the recent attack. OR one might entertain the possibility that this was designed to keep them all quiet about what really happened at the OBL murder.

No one defends OBL .......but he became too convenient a poster child for terrorism. and the gov't , together the the media made sure he was the target. for such hatred........all reason and objectivity was lost. They killed the one person who could have provided all kinds of information about the terror networks...... and that makes this horrific act very suspect. Seems they are hiding a lot more than is being related to the public. Mind you, the "public" is seldom told the truth .....or even something remotely close to it. The deeds that are done in the name of national security are truly appalling , inhumane and uncivilized.

The Pentagon announced on Monday they will not allow any media coverage of the arrival of the remains of the 30 dead soldiers killed in this Saturday’s helicopter shootdown in Afghanistan.
In 2009, President Barack Obama lifted an 18-year ban on media access to the flag-covered caskets arriving at Dover Air Force Base, but this decision runs directly counter to that promise. Caskets have been subject to cameras with the consent of the families of the dead, but since the bodies are not currently identifiable, permission cannot be individually granted and the Pentagon has taken the opportunity to conceal the single deadliest incident for Americans since the start of the war.

Nope. If you have a problem with the source......look up the item on other sources and you will see verification of the infor.

Not only that , but the TV media that covered these troop being memorialzed said the same thing.

******looks more like Bush term three all the time.
