I have a feeling a new phrase might enter the English language: to pull a Putin.
Definition: to invade a part of a country that you know (maybe because your national intelligence agency informed you of it?) will support you, call a referendum, and then annex it with the will of its people.

You do realize that this is just the first step of increased tensions, cold war all over again with Russia.
Next 10 years will be interesting.
As the EU weans themselves of Russian Gas the tensions will increase.

The US imports aren't what keeps China afloat. They simply go to Africa and start gold mining, at least that is cash in hand. Selling to the US is easy, getting paid is the hard part.

Oh', I'm pretty sure I posted something about his hypocrisy. I even suggested we not pay any eransom if he gets abducted while licking the asses of the new leaders.
