Re: Wikileaks' Whistleblower Subjected to Inhumane Conditions

Has anyone else given any thought to the idea that he might be in protective custody?

Just because his fellow inmates are military criminals, doesn't mean they care for treasonous acts.

Tell ya what.... Just to ensure that his rights aren't being violated or that he's being subjected to torture, perhaps it's best to keep him in general population... You know, so no one violates his inalienable rights to be beaten, abused or killed.

I'm just thinking about Julie.

The poor wee little lamb, subjected to the unconscionable torture of solitary confinement and all because the sex was not fully consensual.
Only the morally bankrupt and ethically challenged would use that statement for one of their darlings. While in another breath, condemn the whole of Israel, for a single soldiers crime.

Why not? Hell, it's much easier to fit a "crime" to the evidence, especially when the "crime" is founded in conspiracy and speculation.

That's the best kind of evidence, if research critical thought, commonsense and logic are not your strong suit.

Hence the countless threads on Israeli war crimes, defense of the Hezbollah, Hamas, DPRK, and any other despotic regimes actions.

When did you start using stand up comedy? Just the term "criticle thought" issueing forth from your cake hole has me near strangled from spasms of unbridaled laughter never mind common sense and logic.

Dammit.

I'm going to say this one more time.

Diplomacy can NOT be carried out in the open. Nations need secret communication from their diplomats so that the persons responsible NOT on the scene can form opinions, set up negotiating parameters, estimate dangers....I ask you, and it is so simple an analogy, but so dead on....I ask you could you carry on with your job, your personal relationships, your life with COMPLETE openess?

Of course not.

What about opinions requested and offered to a family member considering someone romantically, or a co-worker considering them for promotion, or a friend considering loaning them money.......how different would your assessment be if you knew the person discussed would get full disclosure? And which assessment would be more accurate??

Release of international diplomatic documents destabilizes the world. It is dangerous.

Julian Assange released technical details on the equipment used by NATO in Afghanistan to detect IEDs. Yesterday we lost yet another Canadian soldier to an IED. Assange through his carelessness, his arrogance, his stupidity, his egotism, could easily have been partially responsible.

Assange released names, and locations of good people helping our troops in Afghanistan........a move condemned by a real bunch of people working for openess Reporters Without Borders. Assange is responsible for the Taliban now hunting them.....and the loss of their Intel to NATO forces.

Assange should be assasinated.

Death to Assange.

He is our enemy, he has made that very clear.

While I understand and agree with the first part of your post, the end of your post completely negates everything else you've said.

You are now qualified to be a member of the Taliban, demanding execution of anyone you disagree with. I trust you enjoy your company.

Sharia Law for Assange. I want to see every email he's ever sent, and I want him to ask his ISP's to publish his entire internet history.

You realize that you've now become exactly the same as the Taliban, too? So, they are the enemy because...we are the same as them? In other words, they have succeeded because you guys have done exactly as they want. Congratulations.

Northern Ontario,
Anyone who has ever been in contract negotiations either on company side or union side knows full well that knowing what one side is considering, gives an unfair advantage to the other side...
Has Assange ever released Taliban documents???.....I doubt he would show his face in public if he did...

What Colpy and Kreskin wish upon Assange is mild and merciful in comparison to what I have seen wished upon Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

That is because they intentionally spread lies, misinformation and hate. Assange didn't even publish his opinion, he only reprinted facts. I agree with TenPenny. We now have the Christo-Fascists verses the Islamo-Fascists.
