I too wonder why this ridiculous "pick on SJP" continues like a bunch of school yard bullies with nothing better to do. It's beyond boring and has been for a very long time. JLM you have been "talking" to SJP for several years now. I'm surprized that you have jumped onto the "pick on SJP" band wagon. I know that I give him a little heck now and then but I always have and we have always remained friends. I might disagree with him and at times tell him right out that I do but I do not make comments about him or pick on him. It is so silly on everyone's part to the point that usually I simply bypass the juvinile comments the moment I start to read one and realize it's just another way to get at him.
Good work Avro. You and Kreskin are about the only ones to stand up and say how silly it all is.

The only time I see poor SJP getting "picked on" is when he tries to present himself as an authority on a subject about which he knows next to nothing. He readily admits to knowing very little about Alberta yet continually seeks to denigrate the province and its citizens and categorize them in his typically dismissive and stereotypical manner. When he starts on this path, he embodies a willful ignorance that I (and presumably others) despise and take steps to enlighten.

Informed about what Wolf? About the fact that some people on here get their jollies out of smart ass comments regarding SJP? That's not informed. I think that's arming yourself so that if you feel the urge, you can toss out a comment too. It's nicer when you just comment and leave picking on anyone out of a post. You have worthwhile things to say so why bother with the nitpicking? For anyone who feels the urge to constantly pick (and I'm not suggesting you do) I believe they think other posters find them humorous and we don't. Small minded and boring maybe but not humorous.
