Then do a search on how many people - they even wait for children sometime to reach 18 - then they hang them
eao: Starting in 1642 within British America, an estimated 365[56] juvenile offenders were executed by the states and federal government of the United States.[57] The United States Supreme Court abolished capital punishment for offenders under the age of 16 in Thompson v. Oklahoma (1988 ), and for all juveniles in Roper v. Simmons (2005).
It seems you only use the US Justice system when it supports the normally BS Position you take,
eao: What a load of crap. Post a link to a post by me which backs up this statement. I support due process and the rule of law. You have never once condemned US and Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Apply that to Syria another one that supplies these 2 terror groups - or the Palestinians who name market squares after mass murderers. But then again these are small compared to what Israel does. Now isn't it - Israel is the real Enemy.
Country/Number executed in 2009
United States 529
Syria At least 8
eao: I`m sure Bush will have a square named after him one of these days too.
Perhaps you should then apply this to Hamas and Hezbollah - But then that would undermine your stance.
eao: I`m against all war crimes and war criminals. Just because I point out Israeli and American war crimes, doesn`t mean I support Hamas or Hezbollah war crimes. Anyone who deliberately attacks civilians is a war criminal. So I am against any group or movement which commits war crimes, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Bush regime and the Israeli government. You support American and Israeli war criminals who have repeatedly started unprovoked wars and are responsible for over a million deaths in the last decade alone. Yet you get your panties in a knot because of Hamas and Hezbolla war crimes which have killed about 20 people in the last decade... Yes they are war criminals, but they aren't in the same league as George W. Bush, Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert ...
Diplomacy with the Taliban
Now consider if you educate yourself that the Taliban knew that Osama was planning attacks - They had him under Guard and surveillance - Wonder why they did that? - Not hard to determine now is it. Does it have t be pseeld ot slow like or can you figure it out by yourself.
They were asked - They refused. Bad decision.
Again they were attacked - and it was not as you say unprovoked - It was sanctioned by every country that is a member of NATO under Article 5 - Read up on it some time as you are so fond of quoting adherence to treaties.
eao: You can't legally start a war unless you are attacked, preventing an attack, or have a UNSC resolution to prevent a serious humanitarian catastrophe (ie. Rwanda) If you believe the Taliban attacked the US, you'll have to provide a link backing up that belief. OBL and some of his entourage were hiding in a part of Afghanistan which was controlled by the Taliban. But that doesn't prove the Taliban knew about 9/11 in advance or supported it. In fact, the Taliban are on record as condemning 9/11, which indicates they didn't approve of it. I've never seen any evidence that the Taliban were involved in 9/11 or any attack against the US before 9/11. The only justification the US ever gave for attacking the Taliban was their refusal to abduct OBL and hand him over. Making such a demand violates international law, never mind starting a war over it. Technically, the US never even declared war against the Taliban. They just started bombing Afghanstan and later invaded without ever offering a single shred of legal evidence backing up their claims about OBL or any sort of legal justification. Apparently the evidence does exist to link OBL to 9/11, which makes Bush's illegal actions even more arrogant and outrageous....
This war isn't about OBL anymore. Now that the US has no hope of ever catching OBL, the Afghan war has changed its purpose. Now its about making Afghanistan a democracy (do fixed elections count?) and liberating oppressed Afghan women from their burkas. No one gave a rat's ass about Afghan women before 9/11 and no one does now. The whole liberate Afghan women issue is a deliberately manufactured post 9/11 concern. Many Arab and Muslim countries similarly oppress women and no one cares about these women. Saudi Arabia is just as oppressive, stones adulterers and does pretty much all the same things as the Taliban, yet no one in the US is pushing to invade Saudi Arabia, which BTW, was the nationality of a majority of 9/11 hijackers...
