I think he is in some way related to "Tiny Tim" the ukelele strumer who had a girl friend named Miss Vicki. Only old Ted is a plumbed a bit more off center. There are a lot of similarities.

Really? The fact that he has been beating on Obama hasn't tainted your view just a bit eh?

Yep
My view of his playing has been tainted by being a guitarist and bassist myself for 39 years. His claim to fame is being a piece of **** musician and now a piece of **** person.

Really? How many Stadium Gigs have you played?

I don't like Madonna or Justin Bieber, but I won't deny that they have talent.

You think a stadium gig is a big deal? lol. That's easy. His stuff is mindless noise.

I've played in just about any gig and in just about any style.

And you are doing what now? Bitching on a forum about Ted Nugent. I have no idea what your talents are Kreskin, I don't even know what you look like, but I do think that your attack on Nugent's musical ability is based on your personal feelings about his politics.

Let me know when your playing the ACC and I'll buy a ticket. :)

Let me know when Ted competes in an International jazz festival and finishes first. Lets see him play under the pressure of not only thousands but under the scrutiny competition adjudicators. By the way they score adjusted to degree of difficulty for songs played, and his **** would be laughed at.

I think the thread title says it all, crappy musician and whackjob. Never liked his music, never liked his attitude, never liked his politics. But he's harmless, just another lightweight loudmouth we don't have to take seriously.

That would be like asking Justin Beber to open up for AC/DC. Or put out AC/DC instead of the London Symphony Orchestra. You can't compare apples to oranges. Nobody said that Ted was or is a great Jazz musician. And I am sure the Jazz musicians would not make great rockers either. Neither is untalented because they can't do a different style of music well.

And who cares about his politics (aside from the Secret Service which is justly investigating)?

I'd love to hear some of your stuff. Got some links, MP3's, Youtube. I'm not being a dick, I'm serious.

Exactly.

I do not understand why everyone seems to think an artistic career enhances anyone's sense of reality...........or why we would listen to their views on politics or anything else in the real world.

It's no different than your standard shock jock on the radio or op-eds that appear in the paper. People listen to them because the talking heads have a medium to be heard. What did Terrence Corcoran do to deserve to be listened to?

And often they have similar views that others do. There's plenty of crazy nuts out there.

Military suicides: BLAME OBAMA!

Draft Dodger Ted Nugent Blames Rise of Military Suicides On Obama | Crooks and Liars

In an appearance on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' radio show, NRA board member Ted Nugent blamed the epidemic of suicides among veterans and active duty military on frustration with President Obama for supposedly "violating" the Constitution.
Nugent, who has appeared on Jones' show several times, told the host that the military is frustrated with Obama for "violating the oath that they're dying for," which is leading to an unprecedented increase in suicides. Nugent went on to describe the Obama administration as "treasonous" and also characterized the president as a "groomed America hater."
