The difference is, Desantis has a successful political background, and he doesn't come off as unpredicatable and unhinged. He actually seems like a very likeable guy. this could be bad news for Democrats if he runs, particularly with sleepy grampa Biden at the helm right now. And with the decline of quality of living in many major democrat run cities resulting from their harmful policies, and fatigue the average middle class American is feeling for being relentlessly accused of countless "isms", I don't suspect it will take long for the shine to wear off of the current regressive administration, and people warming to the prospect of someone offering fresh positive energy.
From your lips to God's ears! I pray that you're right otherwise we're all in trouble. Canada is on the same track as the U.S. and I do not look forward to Trudeau being in office for another 4 years. Canadians simply must get off their a$$e$ and start researching as to what globalists, Agenda 21 and Climate Change B.S. are all about and make EDUCATED decisions before electing our representatives. We've been spoiled & apathetic for far too long.

China is going to fill the void and show the West how to handle the Taliban
They don't need the opiates anymore ( Note the rash of law suits against the pharma opiate pill makers lately ) - they ( sad lol )- WE have fentanyl these days.
:)
..but it's OK, the borders are now wide open too.

If you watched the news back around Xmas time you would have noticed the U.S. was among the world leaders in number of cases and deaths.
And if you would have flipped the channel you would have seen where the CDC was exposed where they over exaggerated the number of real COVID deaths

Again, people not understanding consequences of their actions - guess too many have been taught that there are no consequences or it's someone else's fault or job to clean up the mess. Simplified, but certainly applicable to Afghanistan (and Iraq under Obama). We should never have gone there to begin with but apparently we figured we could succeed where the Russians didn't. How arrogant was that?? 20 years and no one is further ahead and the Afghan's (especially women and children) will bear the brunt of the choices we made.

Biden scrapped the Trump withdrawal plan of negotiate with allies and Taliban on the way out, penalize (air strikes or ground forces) the offenders that breach the agreement
