That was a lovely little propaganda piece.

I like how he enjoys the fact that the laws and freedoms that allowed him to burn the Flag, but he fails to realize, he can because Soldiers died. Especially since he qualified his position, using the history of the US and its military service.

You just have to pity that kind of stupid.

The makers of this political commercial seem to misunderstand how the freedom to make and post this was bought...
This stems from a lack of education, and is the basis for most if not all the misconceptions people have these days, about Soldiers, conflict, rights and freedoms.

These children, have little respect for themselves, let alone a group that have and will die for them. They don't know what true oppression is, they have never suffered any great lose of rights or freedoms. They're spoiled little kids, with far to much time and privilege, paid for by someone else.

Just listen to the young ladies words. She was proud that they had driven off Recruiting Officers. How can someone sit there and cry about the atrocities of our Service men and women, while being proud of subverting someones rights?

Children with no sense or knowledge of history, doing exactly what Soldiers, contemporary and in antiquity, have died to stop.

Engaging in war is an inherent characteristic of man, fueled mainly by greed.

Ah, right.... war bought us freedom, so we should always continue to fight wars. I always forget about that neat little bit of logic.

Can you clarify that?

Because I don't see anywhere in this thread, anyone stating anything that that remotely would apply to.

What pro war rhetoric? Has mhz reading comprehension worn off on you?

Chalk it up to not enough coffee. The thread title had 'end war' stuck in my head as I was reading your blurb about being free to comment thanks to war.... thinking on half a tank. I see now what you were really trying to say.

Stop Supporting the Troops and End the Wars

War is terrorism. Soldiers are not heroes. Presidents are not saviors. A powerful call to action, to move from ritualized 'marches' to sustained rebellion
 Imagine what the world would be like under Hitler if soldiers hadn't stepped between us and him. A few leaders tried reasoning with the asshole and it didn't work.
Nice childlike attitude to think that the world would be nicer without wars. It definitely would, but this attitude is extremely idyllic and unrealistic.

I get such a kick out of the peaceniks. They have no understanding of anything, especially human behavior.

Yes indeed, just because I want it to be, there ain't going to be no more wars.

I am certainly glad that people like that fool were thrown out of office before World War II. Of course, some of them didn't think that war should have been fought either.

For those that think that war accomplishes nothing, I would suggest that they convene a council of Carthaginians, Nazi's American Indians, Greeks, etc. Adolf Hitler can be the Moderator on a debate with the Premise: War Accomplishes Nothing!

Just to throw my two cents in..... One can still attempt to stop the wars our troops are in and still support our troops at the same time.

I don't support the war in Afghanistan, but I still support our troops.

Putting pressure on our government to ensure they don't send our troops off to some stupid and pointless war is directly a means of supporting our troops.

works well

Great piece. I got a kick out of it.

But it does not work well at all. This clown will be bragging about how he was in Iraq in about 5 years just like John Kerry and many of the Vietnam Vets against the War.

Ahhh...restless youth. Pehaps he should go back down to Ft. Bragg to the local pub and "offend" troops. It's easy to say this stuff in the student union. I bet he's using his GI Bill to go to college too!

That makes sense Prax and of course I respect that. But this is one of those extreme guys (and girls) that like to get up in your face providing they are safe enough you won't do anything such as a anti-war rally, talking to college students. As I pointed out...he'd never be bringing his show down to Ft. Bragg or Camp Pendleton.

Sure does, the brain dead will swallow anything. Especially when they're uneducated.

Thankfully, I'm not.

Thankfull you're not which? Brain dead or uneducated? Educated does not mean intelligent, it means trained. You certainly have been educated but you may never be intelligent. In fact many are better educated because of a lesser intelligence whichs allows for suspension of doubt, an emptier bucket may carry more slop. If I were you I would be satisfied with the dead brain cells and consider myself lucky.

Oh of course.... the wanks out there who protest at soldier's funerals, insult and degrade their country's own soldiers as they ship off or ship back and express total ignorance and disrespect on their part, simply because they're angry over a war and angry at the leaders they elected who ordered the war is just a flat cop out and insults not only the troops who are doing their jobs, but insults themselves by being hypocritical in one of the highest manners there is in this subject.

It's not the troops who made the decision to go to war and as proven in a number of past reports/threads/debates.... many in the US military don't have a lot of free choice when it comes to what wars they fight.....

Insulting and trashing your own military for the decisions your political leaders have made is like kicking someone in the ass from behind rather then punching them in the face, for the simple reason you're (generally speaking, not you in particular) too chicken sh*t to stand up to those who are really responsible and giving it to them straight.

I agree with people who wish to end these current wars that are going on.... however, I can not agree with any of their or anybody else's views in regards to somehow punishing those in your military.... take your issues to the head of the snake.
