J.C,,,,,The Republicans and Trump will never change your gun laws and the relatives of the dead and the injured and their relatives. I am sure do not give a shyte about Trump reaching out to them. A Veteran hearing voices was allowed to keep his gun and not on the no fly list. The gun laws in the US are useless and the stats are so far about the rest of the worlds as to be a standing joke,
Oh and don't forget which party blocked every change to the gun laws. Talk about blind and deaf most people are, A President who fought vigorously to changes in the gun laws was blocked at every turn by the Republicans and the party that blocked every attempt to change them, bloody well should reach out and apologize and do it on their knees.
You were trolling and no one bit. But I will; Canada has similar legislation regarding air travel with firearms as the US when travelling to destinations within the same country. Crossing borders, however, is much harder for Canadians travelling South than Americans travelling North, their regulations and paperwork are quite onerous. You obviously are quite ignorant of firearms legislation in both countries, but you can be excused, because many folks are. To see just how many Americans bring their firearms to this country for hunting during the season is quite impressive, and it does fuel local economies whether you like it or not.
Travelling with restricted firearms requires only extra paperwork and they can be carried in checked bags, (rifles are normally carried in a case designed for that purpose, also subject to extra handling charges by the airline, likewise with skis, bicycles, snowboards and the like, with no guarantee they will arrive with you on your flight). And yes, I once did have a checked bag with a pistol in it go missing between Saskatoon and Halifax, luckily it was delivered to me by courier 4 hours after my arrival.
The fact that this happened in the arrivals area of an airport just gives the MSM more shock value than it would have had it happened in a WalMart parking lot.
