You moron, a couple disenfranchised Gazans attacking Israel does it give Israel the right to bomb the **** out of Gaza indiscriminately, killing a bunch of innocent people in the process.
Not only that, they killed Egyptian soldiers as they fired at the attackers as they fleed across the border. Trigger happy and completely reckless morons.

First of all, Gazans attacking Israel certainly DOES give Israel the right to bomb Gaza.

Secondly, they did NOT bomb "indiscriminately", they killed 5 militant leaders responsible for the attack.

Thirdly, it is not established who killed the Egyptians.....although I read that the attack was carried out from an Egyptian border station.....in broad daylight. Which makes that station a legitimate target,.


The Israelis are FAR from trigger-happy.

One house destroyed in Rafah was the Israeli reply to the initial attack.........6 killed, five militants and one unfortunate child, son of the militant leader.

That IS surgical.

What is with you, no one indiscriminately bombed anyone, bombing one house killing the leader and a couple of his lieutenants with only one innocent getting killed is damn fine shooting, especially with a 500 LB bomb or two. You have no argument. Israel did a great job.

Israel did not apologize....they expressed their regret. There is a major difference, an apology accepts responsibility, an expression of regret does not accept any responsibility.......

Although I am unsure about the meaning....it is not clear in any of the news reports I've read. No details. Israel may have meant it to be an unconditional apology.....they were firing at terrorists inside Egypt. Now the questions are: did Israel kill them by accident? If so, a full apology and compensation is certainly necessary.

Or were they killed by the terrorists? (who violated Egyptian sovereignty)

Or were they part of the attack?

It will all come out, but right now it is far from clear.
