"A lot of old school thinkers believe blacks aren't smart enough to be starting QB's."

List all the NFL clubs with black quarterbacks.

Should the owners of those clubs be silenced? Should they be callee racists?

Why NOT? If a person whose wedding was performed by a BLACK judge (marriage, alas, has been ended in divorce) not good enough to own an NFL team, who is?

"I was sure you would be one. "

If you did not notice, let me tell you: I DO NOT OWN AN NFL TEAM.

And if I did and the quarterback did the job he was paid to do, I would not goive a fiddlers fart about the colour of his skin.

Just as Rush Limbaugh would not.

Just to switch gears here, Mr. Kreskin:

Tell me honestly: Have you EVER listened to Rush Limbaugh's Radio show? Do yo even know what station you can get it in your particular location in Canada?

If your honest answer is - as I expect - How do you think you are qualified to utter a single sound pro or con on this subject?

For your information I am a great admirer of Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh.

Nfl players work for money .
their agents negotiate the best possible deal for them at free agent time.
All players black or white or brown or yellow or red,all play for money and all they follow is the money.
They could care less whose money it is.
Why would any of you?
And why it is a subject that anyone can lose there temper over is beyond me.
To much politics is making your brains go soft.

Proud to be the only sober participant on this thread.

Let us rehash again: What is the OBJECTION to Rush Limbaugh owning a NFL team? And Why is it any different than anyone owning a car, or a bunch of broccolis or a Fridge or a watermelon or fried chicken, if he/she can afford it?????

The objection is the other owners (filthy rich and not ACORN members I might add). They see his big mouth as a liability, and I'm glad they do.

No!!! The marriage of you hero, your idol ended in divorce? Surely not. And not only once, but he has been married and divorced three times. I expect any woman who wants to marry the drug addict must be a true masochist.

And it is not really your opinion that counts is it? It is the opinion of the players which counts. If they say they don’t want Limbaugh as a team owner, I expect their opinion will carry a lot of weight.

Indeed, that is the argument conservatives used for decades, they opposed any laws outlawing discrimination. Thus the fact that women were not doctors, lawyers, etc. was the fault of the women; they were too dumb to become professionals. Same thing applied with blacks.

That is why conservatives opposed many laws intended to end the discrimination against blacks, minorities etc. While they have thrown in the towel as far as blacks and women are concerned, they still vigorously oppose any attempts to end discrimination against gays.

The objection is simple, Yukon. The players don’t want him. The players think that he is a racist, and I happen to agree with them.

Oh please lets have Rush as an NFL team owner, for a man who seems to have all the answers to everything we can then see if all his bluster about how his ideas can make America a perfect place can equate to running a successful football franchise, out in the real world where actions have real consequences me thinks he's going to lose a lot of his money and run any NFL team into ruin .
If on the other hand if he manages to bring his team to winning the Super bowl i''ll become a real fan of Rush and become a conservative.

The NFL doesn't want stuff like this coming out of one of their owner's mouths. It's bad for business.

"It’s Obama’s America, is it not? Obama’s America, white kids getting beat up on school buses now. You put your kids on a school bus, you expect safety but in Obama’s America the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering."

Let's see how money talks. I say he fails.

WTF does he want to buy into an NFL team for anyways?

In the end if they DO let him buy in, I bet that not many players leave the team. It is not the MLB. They have a weak union in the NFL and it is not much stronger than the NHL union.

EEEEGGG... well he does want to buy the Rams and they have not been good since they lost to the Patriots.

You should be good for many years. If he does manage to buy and win the Super Bowl it will be MANY years and by then most of us would have forgotten your proclamation. The Rams are a shamble.

"I imagine there would be quite a few NFL players who would not want to play there, if Rush were part owner."

Yeah, really??

Would you refuse your paycheck if the owner of the company you work for turned out to be racist?

Which is not even the case here.
