This is actually what most Democrats think. Their opponents are destroying themselves in unbelievable fashion with no sign of it stopping soon. Why is this happening? The prevailing view is the Republicans have for years encouraged right-wing craziness and it's now out of control, like Frankenstein's monster.

Hi Icarus ~ welcome back after your 4 or 5 month hiatus from CC.

I have had some of the biggest laughs of my life in seeing this hate spewed by the Republicans against each other. But lost in all this is the lack of a discussion of substantive issues by the GOP. In all this time they have yet to offer so much as one meaningful solution to the problems that exist in society. They hate Obamacare but offer nothing to replace it with. They want more more war in the ME but offer nothing to settle the Republican created instability there. Police continue to kill blacks while white supremacists continue to kill cops. And what are their solution??? None to be found.

Honestly, I just cannot see how any rational person would vote Republican.

Neocons inherently believe in getting rid of government.

Well this is what that looks like lol

... unless it is the Pentagon and military industrial complex

yup - they sure are all in stitches
You must really be nervous that Trump might actually win the nomination .Is it just possible that you think Trump might just have a better chance to beat Hillary than Cruz .

Didn't you know? Liberals always think they know better than you.

And they don't like democracy... which is why they have Super Delegates for their primaries.

On February 12, 2016, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chair of the Democratic National Committee, was asked by CNN's Jake Tapper,

"What do you tell voters who are new to the process who say this makes them feel like it's all rigged?"

Schultz's response was, "Unpledged delegates exist really to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don't have to be in a position where they are running against grass-roots activists."

This clarification was hailed by Clinton supporters as a wise policy to maintain steady, experienced governance, and derided by Sanders supporters as the establishment thwarting the will of the people

For the GOP this is a sad case of self inflicted wounds done by those who claim to be rational thinking people.

He will defeat all others in the campaign. This will set up a three party contest in November.

So go for it, Chump, eh, Trump!

Absolutely. And all conservatives are religious fanatics.

They are not called CONselfservatives for nothing.

The conservatives in Canada got too complacent that a flashy dude like Trudeau couldn't possibly win an election and now we are paying for it...
The Democrats are using the same tactics against Trump that the Conservatives used in Canada..
Y'all might get the same results....
I'm hoping so.......
He'll be the 'Ying' for Trudeau's 'yang'....

This sounds quite frucked. Why would they not want a grass-roots movement?

Of course, he's not grass roots, but if the Republicans had the same system they could decide to quash Trump even if he was the lead vote getter should they decide that Trump is not who they want.

Because grass roots movements means the people... Democrats don't like the people being pesky and messing things up for their coronations. The Democrats have removed any real way to challenge their chosen ones.

Absolutely! If the Republicans had the same set up why good ol JEB could be the front runner!

There is no way that Sanders could have won the Democrat Primaries. The Super Delegates are already bought and paid for by the DNC. It was rigged from the start.

Now if the GOP can capitalize on that by showing Sanders voters that they never had a chance against the DNC and Clinton maybe they'll simply stay home in November or vote for the other candidate.

Maybe it should read "Republican party minus Trump crackup". Sounds like he's outpacing both Hillarious and Sanders!
