Who will be the third party ?

That remains to be seen. But remember that the Libertarian Party (LP) has at least 400,000 members nationwide (with many LP loyalists who don't even bother to register their membership) and the Greens have even more. Back in 2000 the latter got well over 2 million votes and it greatly hurt the Dems chances of winning.

So far the entire nomination process has been fascinating to say the least. But the best is yet to come ...

The Democrats are in stitches because they have the Democrat Primaries rigged for their establishment candidate (Hillary Clinton) and the GOP are having elections where the people's votes actually count.

“Unpledged delegates (Super Delegates) exist, really, to make sure that party leaders and elected officials (Hillary Clinton Supporters) don’t have to be in a position where they are running against grassroots activists (anyone other than establishment candidates),” Debbie Wasserman-Schultz

It was always inevitable, I suppose. The Republican Party has debased itself for decades – courting racists, placating religious lunatics, and using the culture wars as a political wedge. Candidates like Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin are natural outgrowths of this conservative ecosystem; they’re exactly what you’d expect it to produce.

This is the climate Republicans have cultivated, and what we’re seeing now is the logical conclusion of those efforts.

The GOP establishment continues to eat itself from within, as officials scramble to make sense of it all. You might call it an identity crisis of sorts. Longtime Republicans are now questioning the party’s broader strategy. Here’s Bret Stephens, a conservative columnist for the Wall Street Journal:

“Liberals may have been fond of claiming that Republicans were all closet bigots and that tax cuts were a form of racial prejudice, but the accusation rang hollow because the evidence for it was so tendentious. Not anymore. The candidacy of Donald Trump is the open sewer of American conservatism…It would be terrible to think that the left was right about the right all these years.”

I do hope you understand that when you talk about what the left wants or thinks, it sounds exactly as clueless and childishly spiteful as when mentalfloss declares what the right thinks and wants.

Of course, if we commented on your elections, you'd bust a blood vessel screaming about how we can't interfere in your elections.

MMMmmm. . . Canadian hypocrisy. Now with genuine maple flavor!
The whole world is watching the show with concern, particularly Canadians. These people have immense power in the world, and they are right next door!

... and at least one of the choices apppears to be totally amoral and nihilistic. If Trump actually gets elected by the American people, it would not be a leap to assume that those who elected him are also amoral and nihilistic.

Don't kid yourself. Both of the choices are amoral and nihilistic.

You should be happy, but you seem worried to me .

I've seen a lot of hate spewed in previous campaign but this year's Republican civil war is the biggest example of hate I have ever seen.

Dems and others are having a huge laugh about it all.

That particular hypocrisy is less egregious than the stupidity of the Republican race right now.

Yes, we know "less egregious" is your aspiration.

So, aside from the tu quoque fallacy, any other valuable input? Or any more logical fallacies you want to air?

C'mon, do it for Justin!

People, quit with the gargantuan words.

Didn't you know? Liberals always think they know better than you.

I always thought it was, "What's best for you."

Absolutely. And all conservatives are religious fanatics.

I can name a few conservatives right here that don't subscribe to any religion.
