Re: More Shiny Ponyness!

Asking a question is bullsh|t? I think you have a little comprehension problem, bucko. Partisanship puts blinders on people.

Partisanship? I don't care if you knock J.T.. Just find real issues and I'll help knock him.

One of the Shiny Pony's Friends in the Spotlight

Justin Trudeau appears to be surrounding himself with some people with rather "interesting" views. As BC Blue has reported, his Social Media Manager (?) Ashley Martyn appears to have no respect and little tolerance for anyone who believes in God. A few days ago she tweeted this:
Religious people are less intelligent than atheists.
It would be interesting if the Media Party asked Muslim, Jewish, and Christian leaders how they feel about a representative of a major Canadian political leader saying such derogatory things about them and their congregation. A logical follow-up question would be to ask Ms. Martyn how long she has felt this way towards Muslims and Jews. Furthermore, if she feels that she is smarter than all Muslims and Jews, isn't that the textbook definition of a bigot?

Ashley Martyn seems to be a few bricks short of a load ... hmmmm ... I wonder what church she goes to? Oh! Surprise! The LGBTQIAxyz church:

From an article she wrote last week in the Globe and Mail:

This change of heart [Conservatives becoming more gay-friendly], whether from public pressure or because of more influential MPs like Baird, place the Conservatives on the right track, but much work still remains to be done before they can genuinely declare themselves as warriors for the gay rights movement.

On gay rights, Conservatives could learn a thing or two from John Baird - The Globe and Mail

Martyn, a volunteer for Trudeau, appears to be as predictable and addle-brained as her boss, both of them having drunk deeply of the Libtard Kool-Aid.

BTW, Martyn is not Trudeau's "Social Media Manager" as reported in the Globe and Mail last week. They've amended their mini-bio of her: Editor's note: an earlier version of this opinion piece incorrectly described the author's role with Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada.

I'm wondering why millionaire Trudeau gets free PR in the Probe and Fail? Are any volunteers for the CPC or the NDP given free space to voice their opinions in "Canada's National Newspaper" (sic)?

Fess up Mr. Dressup: Shahada-reciting Trudeau all for show, but questions still should have been asked

In the theatre that is modern political campaigns, there are two usual costumes: A parliamentary suit and tie, and the casual blue shirt and khaki pants.

But politicians have a third wardrobe for the hustings: Ethnic costumes. Politicians campaigning in synagogues wear Jewish yarmulkes; politicians campaigning in Sikh temples wear colourful turbans. But is there a line between showing solidarity with the cultural symbols of a new Canadian group and actually converting religions?

Oh Shiny Pony

Following in the footsteps of PSY's gangam phenomenon, Justin Trudeau has come up with his own "Manhattan Style" PR campaign, pitching economic illiterate Chrystia Freeland as one of him main economic advisers. Ezra Levant explains:

In democracies, citizens deserve the politicians they elect. Such will be the case for Canadians if they succumb to the Media Party's narrative and elect the Shiny Pony and his fellow "stars" in 2015.

Re: The Shiny Pony Returns to Canada's Left Coast

The funny part of it is the next election will depend on how the vote splits.
Trudeau is a name but has come on the scene far too long after his father.
Older people either loved or hated him and the young ones regard him as
a part of ancient history.
In contrast I don't think in the long run Harper will be on the front line when
the next election comes . There is political unrest across the land for a
variety of reason. Trudeau is not going to save the Liberal Party but the
Conservatives have problems of their own. I see us returning to minority
government.

‘Hey girl, what’s my favourite virtue?’: Justin Trudeau invites women to $250 ‘mansplaining’ event

‘Hey girl, what’s my favourite virtue?’: Justin Trudeau invites women to $250 ‘mansplaining’ event | National Post

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau’s easy ride to 24 Sussex hit a rough patch after he was accused of breaking a cardinal rule of social media law: Thou shall not “mansplain.”

Trudeau has come under satiric fire prior to a Thursday night’s “Justin Unplugged” event. The Liberal leader is asking for $250 from the “ladies” to “really get to know the future prime minister” over cocktails at an exclusive Toronto club.

The Andy Warhol-inspired event poster features pictures the floppy-haired Liberal delivering his best smouldering gaze, surrounded by questions in a fanciful font: “What is the biggest issue facing women?”, “What’s your favourite virtue?” and “Who are your real life heroes?”

The poster is tagged “What would you ask Justin,” with a suggested hashtag: #askjustin.

The online reaction was less than kind for the son of former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, who was accused of “mansplaining” –a term used to describe a man condescendingly explaining something the (female) listener already knows. (Think every co-ed softball game ever.)

#askjustin is an illustration of what patronizing & privileged party politics looks like. Mansplaining 101. #canfem #fem2

Is it too much to ask for a leader and platform we can all generally get behind?

Why is it the raving loons from back east keep coming to my coast and thinking they represent my views?
