Is that what a birther means?

Seriously... I could care less whether he was born here or not. Nor do I feel that if he is found out to be originally from Kenya that he should be charged or punished. To me it is not a big deal. He's an American and he's our President.

I DO think it is odd that his birth certificate is sealed though. I don't understand why. Can you think of any reason to keep a birth certificate sealed?

Obama is clearly a US Citizen and IMO has every right to be President. I do not believe a non-US Citizen should be able to run for President but I feel a naturalized citizen should be able to.

Or are you just trying to make something out of nothing?

Is that his real birth certificate?

Well then what is the big deal?

I had no idea that it was released.

Like I said... to me it was no big deal either way and if that was legit you can cross me out of the birther category..

Here's an investigation for you to absorb.

Like I said... I could care less. I never knew what the big deal was to begin with and paid little attention. To me it was more of a curiosity than anything. I'm not like one of these silly libs that said "Not my President" during the Bush years. Obama is the President and there is no disputing that.

And all this after we had a civil PM exchange about the Bruins.

It looks like you are just being Avro again.

You said you were willing to bet...so you're a birther.

I'm just giving you info....nothing uncivil about it.

Here's another investigation.

Personally, I get a kick out of those groups/people that have a burning need to perpetually attach a moniker to whatever is the issue of the day. It seems that the practice has evolved to the point that people support the actual moniker without any interest or knowledge in the underlying issue.

Yes but that was without knowing that he presented a birth certificate. Was that his actual birth certificate?

I really don't care either way but if you are getting joy out of it why don't you print these off, get a tube of KY and have fun with yourself.

So you are willing to make a bet without doing any research?

I never said you cared whether he was born in the USA or not.

I wasn't trying anything more than showing you some information and for this you're telling to stick it up my a$$.8O

I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Have a good one.

Well if someone stuck their hand out and said...

"OK... $100 Loonies says you're wrong."

...I most likely wouldn't take the bet because I don't really have all the facts because it is a story that I really don't have any passion for either way.

I didn't say stick it up your a** I was merely suggesting that if this exchange is getting you that happy and excited to go pleasure yourself.

You too have a nice day.

Sometimes the article says it all, and there is nothing to add.

Especially when it is from a right wing extremist, I assume then it is a Gospel truth, nobody dare contradict it, or disagree with the extremist.

I-95 billboard features George Bush: `Miss Me Yet?'

A billboard featuring former President George W. Bush has popped up along Interstate 95. In this election year, who's behind it? It's a mystery.

And why would it be a mystery? Obviously a teabagger is behind it.

TenPenny opined in somewhat belligerent way:

"A billboard with anyone, and a tag line of 'Miss Me Yet?' is really only missing one thing - a couple of bullet holes, and the tag, 'Not so far!' "

Presumably, he did not see this:

George W. Bush Gaining Popularity On Barack Obama | News Briefs

Even Nixon's popularity went up after he resigned in disgrace, that means nothing. People have a nostalgia for a past president, it is nonsense to compare past president with the current president. If you are going to compare Bush to anybody, compare him to Clinton or to Carter.

So you're a birther?

Too funny.

Most republicans are birthers, Avro. Most Republicans are convinced that Obama is a Muslim terrorist.

Even worse then being born in Kenya, Obama was born in Canada. PWNED haha

Maybe he is a Canadian spy. One right wing extremist accused him of being a USSR spy, perhaps he got the country wrong (extremists usually don't worry about facts, they know they are right, and that is what counts).

For those who trust Obama as far as they could throw his wife:

The American Spectator : Obama Defeats Specter

There was only one Congressional seat up for election on Tuesday. It was John Murtha’s former seat in Pennsylvania, a very conservative district. Republicans were confident of winning the seat. A Democrat won there without any trouble. This is not some liberal, safe democratic district, this is a conservative district, Republicans should have won easily. That may be a portent of things to come, Republicans may have a much more difficult time of it than they and the teabaggers think.

I have no idea why President Obama's background is such a secret.

It is nobody's business, even a president is entitled to some privacy.

Again, just trying to give you some info.

Not sure where you see happy and excited, seems to be the last argument for you when you lose.

Oh well.

Take care.:canada:

Wait a minute....I thought folks from Hollywood were all a-holes who shouldn't be preaching to us from their ivory towers?

Avro, according to your description, you are a free thinker and a resident of Oshawa.

Is it free thinking to support the government takeover of an industry that put bread and butter on the table of your grandparents and parents and perhaps, even you?

Is it free thinking that make you believe that those who are not blindly liberal want their children and themselves to breath dirty air and drink polluted water? Surely you can not be as stupid as believing that.

Are you willing to pay $10.00 (or more) for a gallon of gas?

Nah it was more and there really wasn't an argument now was there? I admitted I did not know all the details as it wasn't so important to me. I could care less.

You got all giddy because Obama's birth certificate obviously means so much to you and had a little more info on it.

I said I didn't know too much about it. Where was the argument?

Wait a minute....I thought folks from Hollywood were all a-holes who shouldn't be preaching to us from their ivory towers?

For the most part they are. I didn't listen to the clip as I could care less what an actor or actress thinks about issues. None of them should be preaching to the people that have to work for a living.

Another gem by The Annointed One:

News Headlines - Obama orders new fuel standards for future : Townhall.com

What He forgot to mention that getting 35 miles to the gallon is not worth a fiddlers fart if you have to pay $10.00 for a gallon.

TownHall, is that the well known extreme right, Obama hating, teabagger website? And 10 $ a gallon gas is coming, whether you like it or not, and whether USA has a Democratic or a Republican president (but I assume the blow will be easier to bear if it happens under a Republican). It is not a question of if, but of when. And some European countries do has almost 10$ a gallon gas, the civilization there hasn't exactly collapsed.

Avro, according to your description, you are a free thinker and a resident of Oshawa.

And who is attempting such a take over?

Is it free thinking that make you believe that those who are not blindly liberal want their children and themselves to breath dirty air and drink polluted water? Surely you can not be as stupid as believing that.
Conservatives want industrial development, first and foremost, for that they are willing to sacrifice the environment. While they may not want dirty water and dirty air, they are willing to put up with polluted water and dirty air if that means industrial development. Witness the conservative policy (as exemplified by Palin so well) of 'drill, baby drill!', which was the conservative slogan in the last election. Conservatives are willing to tolerate BP type disaster, if in return they get orrshore oil.

Are you willing to pay $10.00 (or more) for a gallon of gas?
I am.
