Like I said... I could care less. I never knew what the big deal was to begin with and paid little attention. To me it was more of a curiosity than anything. I'm not like one of these silly libs that said "Not my President" during the Bush years. Obama is the President and there is no disputing that.
And all this after we had a civil PM exchange about the Bruins.

Personally, I get a kick out of those groups/people that have a burning need to perpetually attach a moniker to whatever is the issue of the day. It seems that the practice has evolved to the point that people support the actual moniker without any interest or knowledge in the underlying issue.

There was only one Congressional seat up for election on Tuesday. It was John Murtha’s former seat in Pennsylvania, a very conservative district. Republicans were confident of winning the seat. A Democrat won there without any trouble. This is not some liberal, safe democratic district, this is a conservative district, Republicans should have won easily. That may be a portent of things to come, Republicans may have a much more difficult time of it than they and the teabaggers think.
It is nobody's business, even a president is entitled to some privacy.

For the most part they are. I didn't listen to the clip as I could care less what an actor or actress thinks about issues. None of them should be preaching to the people that have to work for a living.
TownHall, is that the well known extreme right, Obama hating, teabagger website? And 10 $ a gallon gas is coming, whether you like it or not, and whether USA has a Democratic or a Republican president (but I assume the blow will be easier to bear if it happens under a Republican). It is not a question of if, but of when. And some European countries do has almost 10$ a gallon gas, the civilization there hasn't exactly collapsed.
And who is attempting such a take over?
Conservatives want industrial development, first and foremost, for that they are willing to sacrifice the environment. While they may not want dirty water and dirty air, they are willing to put up with polluted water and dirty air if that means industrial development. Witness the conservative policy (as exemplified by Palin so well) of 'drill, baby drill!', which was the conservative slogan in the last election. Conservatives are willing to tolerate BP type disaster, if in return they get orrshore oil.
