there was just an old wooden bridge, I think it was also called twig island at one time.
saw mills were there back then, now there an aero marine service.

The SkySlug (Skytrain) has turned it around. Hi-rises are popping up like crazy. Same with North Rd (Burquitlam).

I'm in the lower mainland 4-6 times a year.

I was referring to metrotown. Capitol Hill used to resemble downtown Tehran but I think it got move to the north shore.

They have 30km/h "Junkie Crossing" zones down there. I speed up to 60 when in them.

Once I finish working and my tenants have paid off my mortgages for me I will sell it all off and retire to the Tofino area.

Tofino hasn't been a good place to retire for probably 30 years. Far too many outsiders with no clue of reality. Infested with tourists all summer too.
