I am not at all sure Mr. Thompson is "innocent". I have little doubt things were said and done on both sides of the on-going dispute that would set Miss Manners all a-flutter.

I am, however, pretty sure he is "not guilty". Of any of the charges against him.

There's a big difference.........

Yeah, well I mean this kinda sounds like two assholes just not willing to let something go.

I mean the guys in the news article. heh

Just buy a fake gun from Dollar-ama. The placebo effect more than substantiates the purchase as you've proven.

There is a reason why that won't work.

The newspapers are lieing to us?

WELLAND -- A Port Colborne man facing a number of charges, including careless use of a firearm, will be back in court on March 2.
Ian Thomson, 53, is alleged to have fired a handgun on the morning of Aug. 22, 2010, in an attempt to ward off three suspects who were allegedly firebombing his home at .

Northern Ontario,
Oh you gotta watch it with the geese. Cops will kick ya if you're shootin the geese man. It's true! heh heh
Don't need no gun for geese........a snare on the end of a pike pole don't make no noise
They don't fly at night so it won't take off with you;-)

Just buy a fake gun from Dollar-ama. The placebo effect more than substantiates the purchase as you've proven. It's a bit pointless going through your ethical conundrum on a case-by-case basis if it is only going to affect an insignificant portion of the population.

If you're out to save that small little puddle, then you better have an argument that ensures that everyone is safe and nobody 'good' dies.
And you're shyte out of luck if you think you can buy a Replica gun legally in Canada

What are you doing on a white supremest website and why would you post a link the sign up page?
They are backing this Ian Thompson fella. Check out who his lawyer has backed in the past. He takes terrorists and extremists on for clients.

Check this one out:
During the Dec. 17 discovery, police seized 70 firearms, three home made pipe bombs, along with other prohibited weapons including firearm silencers, knives, and brass knuckles. Police also seized military-issue restraints, a bullet-proof vest and martial arts weapons.
The incident forced the evacuation of about 200 South Porcupine residents, as police waited for North Bay's Explosive Disposal Unit
The extremists are coming out of the woodwork. If they had the rights and it were legal to shoot at people then I'd support them too.

Yeah but that doesn't mean anything. For one, no one can choose who decides to support them on the Internet.
Another thing, Everyone gets a fair trial here and that means competent representation in the courts. It doesn't matter what you think of a person only that they have competent representation before a judge and jury of their peers.

So you insist that if your house burns down you can't make a new home?

What is the difference between a house and a home? I would never let someone destroy my home. If they did and got away, of course I would let the law run its course. If there were any pets or other people in the house I would not even had a second thought about what I would do on the spot. Someone firebombing my home is not safe from me as long as they are in my sights. This all is academic though, I have very rarely needed a second shot.

The second shot is to make sure they don't live to sue you;-)

Based on his actions while wearing only his underwear it's safe to say he wasn't threatened by fire and he fired his weapon carelessly.

Why were the arsonists yelling " We love you man" in the video? Was it a gay relationship gone sour?
