I just looked at that Gallagher article and most of the comments were by right wingers. If that makes them "idiots", well, I won't argue the point. ;)

"Maggie Gallagher is a right wing extremist."

Sure, dismissing anyone you disagree with is favourite, albeit overused and weak argument, often used by brain-dead liberals who have nothing else to cling to.

"And I note she did not say that Palin is popular with American women."

She also did not say that Obama was popular with men. Or that the Moon is not made of green cheese. Or that liberals have brains. Some things are so obvious that they need not be said.

Then the unsubstantiated crap about the popularity of Sarah Palin:

"She isn't, she has high negatives among Americans, and especially among American women."

You mean especially among LIBERAL women.

I love irony.

As a reminder:

YukonJack must be a self-hating liberal.

Tonnington, I have been called worse than you could ever call me by far better people than you.

However, none of them sunk as low as calling me a liberal.

If you go right far enough and you got left far enough you pretty well end up at the same spot. I hate to say it to you Y.J. but you and Sir Porter are about 2' apart in your thinking, with you guys it has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with hatred. Political platforms are nothing but fickle bullsh*t, that it might be good to get people to believe for 5 minutes on election day- the rest of the year it's a sickness.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Of course most comments were by right wing extremists (and idiots, I agree with YJ here), it would be crazy to argue otherwise. TownHall is an extreme right wing website, why would most comments there be by liberals?

"Maggie Gallagher is a right wing extremist."

Sure, dismissing anyone you disagree with is favourite, albeit overused and weak argument, often used by brain-dead liberals who have nothing else to cling to.

Anybody who writes for an extreme righ twing website like TownHall is a right wing extremist.

"And I note she did not say that Palin is popular with American women."

She also did not say that Obama was popular with men. Or that the Moon is not made of green cheese. Or that liberals have brains. Some things are so obvious that they need not be said.
Of course it is obvious, Palin has high negative among Americans and partucularly among American women.

Then the unsubstantiated crap about the popularity of Sarah Palin:

"She isn't, she has high negatives among Americans, and especially among American women."

You mean especially among LIBERAL women.
No I mean among ALL women and among ALL Americans. The last poll I saw, her approval was under 30%.

And the statement has been substantiated many times, poll after poll shows that Palin is extremely unpopular with Americans (though extremely popular with the right wing Republican base, with the teabaggers).

Right on....

Without YJ I am nothing, are you serious? You and other right wingers here fawn over me constantly, you people reminisce about me even when I am away on vacation. Many times right wingers here will talk about me even when I am not participating in a thread. Some posters have commented on this phenomena (perhaps a bit wistfully).

It has nothing to do with YJ I have a large following among the right wing extremists here.

Then the unsubstantiated crap about the popularity of Sarah Palin:

"She isn't, she has high negatives among Americans, and especially among American women."

You mean especially among LIBERAL women.

YJ, here is just one poll as to how your Goddess is doing with American people. She has 37% approval, 55% unfavorable rating. What this means is that she is wildly popular among the far right Republican base and among the teabaggrs, but with hardly anybody else.

SirJosephPorter, Eugine Robinson is a regular on Keith Olbermann's daily hate fest.
He is a perfect example of the total and utter futility of affirmative action. He is a more raging liberal than anyone you could name as an extreme right winger.

Of course, just like his and your GOD, Obama, he is protected by his race. Anyone saying anything nergative about them would - and DOES - label those who dare to disagree with them as Racist. And we all know that being a racist - even an unsubstantiated and alleged one - is far worse than being a serial murderer and/or a pedopihle.

Indeed, Eugine Robinson is far less credible to normal people than any of your most despised conservative columnists. Clinched by the fact that he is an idiot and, of course, by the fact thay YOU think he is anything but an overrated clown.

The poll was not conducted by Robinson, YJ. It was conducted by one fo the major, reputable organization.

Anyway, let us see a poll by you which shows Palin approval at 70 or 80%. Can you produce a poll? I have produced one which shows her approval is in the toilet, among Americans.

Why, she even has trouble winning conservative straw polls these days.

SirJosephPorter, WHAT POLL?

You gave us a link to an ARTICLE or if you will an opinion by Eugine Robinson.

So you cannot cite a poll which shows Palin's approval rating at 70% or 80%? Just about what I expected. That 70 or 80% approval is only in your mind.

Anyway YJ, here is a link to the poll I quoted (37% favorable, 55% unfavorable). It is a Washington Post/ABC poll. Now no doubt according to you, those are Communist publications, and you probably don’t believe the poll (you ‘know’ that her popularity is at around 70 or 80%), but that is not my problem.

SirJosephPorter, please point me and the rest of the participants on Canadian Content - I mean ALL the threads - where I claimed that Sarah Palin has a popularity rating of 70 or 80%.

Nobody said that, YJ. But you did claim that Palin has a substantial following in USA. When I said she has huge negatives among women, you claimed it was only among 'liberal women'.

That 70 or 80% was my interpretation of what you claimed, since you plainly cannot mean that 37% approval and 55% disapproval represents substantial following.

Anyway, now that you have been defeated, you are cleverly trying you change the subject. I have given you a poll which shows that Palin's approval is in the toilet (even though you may think that is a Communist poll).

Now let us see a poll from you, which shows a substantial following for Palin. If not 70 or 80%, then , maybe 60%, 50%, anything?

SirJosephPorter, I stumped you, left you speechless and you have the nerve and the CHUTZPAH to claim that I have been defeated?

You had the unmitigated nerve to put your interpretation in my mouth/keyboard. And even more insultingly you claim that I want to change the subject.

Well at least you admit that I was clever making you suck on your big toe.

Yukon....Statements like that from the left is what is commonly called a smokescreen...
Some people tend to blow a lot of smoke when they have nothing relevant to say....
And now for the usual comeback from the smoke blower...

Other smokescreens include the race card and throwing in religion just to have something to say

for a while, Sarah Palin was exhorting her supporters that the 'Drill Baby Drill!'approach towards deep sea oil drilling was the way to go. I'm saddened to not hear the dulcet tones of Sarah on this topic lately ....
