I harvest tomatoes right up to the end of October, and then I pick the green ones, just before the first frost hits. We then ripen them in the window and they're still no worse than what the supermarket is offering. This past year, and a few previous ones, We had grape cluster mini tomatoes from my garden on Christmas Day.We usually end up with more tomatoes than we need.
Now I'm looking forward to early August.
Toasted rye bread, mayo and fresh off the vine tomatoes.
