More than average Antarctic ice +760,000
Less that average Arctic ice -425,000
-----------
difference +235,000sq. km.

More ice than average globally.

So what you are saying, Walter, is all this global warming is a bunch of bullsh*t!

Oh don't confuse deniers with facts. It snowed on them, so it is colder. They just don't want to feel responsible even though they are.
What about the global average amount of sea ice being greater?

With a finite amount of water on the planet, rising sea levels can only be attributed to melting glaciers and ice caps. Now, what on Earth could cause glaciers and ice caps to melt?
There is far more water underground in deserts than there is locked in glaciers.

Actually, the majority of sea level rise is thermal expansion of the oceans. Heat up water and it expands. The next biggest contributor is on-land melting of ice. But even if the glaciers weren't receding, and ice caps were stable in mass, the ocean could and would still rise.

Hmm, they could only quote one scientist who claims the Earth is cooling...I've seen some people playing fast and loose with statistics, to get the time interval needed to say that global warming has stopped, i.e. trend statistically the same as zero. Haven't even seen those charlatans claim that the earth is cooling.
