And in English it's called gossip. It certainly doesn't belong in this thread, but I guess in the minds of deniers anything Gore=climate change...

The south pole had the warmest year in recorded time. South Pole Has Warmest Year on Record | LiveScience

Yeah. All those old fogies at Palm Bay and Ft. Lauderdale will have to learn to swim and the exploiters of the planet can head for Greenland to rape it of its oil and minerals.
Awesome.

I'd wait until most of the melting before I'd be tear assing off to Greenland. If you are not careful there you could easily have a glacier fall on your head...............:lol::lol:

IPCC clearly overestimates the extent of Arctic sea ice minimums:

It hurts when our heroes are proven fallible.

Who gives a damn about the jury? The facts are that we pollute and we'd be better off if we didn't.
The majority of the evidence points to human interference, though, and we've interfered with other natural systems.
Couldn't agree more.

Now, do we sell out souls to one aspect, that has ties to shady schemes, or do we actually tackle the whole issue?

How quaint... Why bother investigating anything at all; we'll just rely on Dear Leader to tell us what is.

The facts are that we pollute and we'd be better off if we didn't.

Pollution and unnatural global warming are separate issues. I can only presume that because you are posting on this thread, that you are commenting on GW.

The majority of the evidence points to human interference, though, and we've interfered with other natural systems.

If that were the case, there would no debate. In fact, the very jury that you don't give a damn about would make a clear determination that would support that position.

As Anna said, we start by cleaning up our own back yard first. Then we put pressure on gov'ts and companies to do the same.
Done, I no longer drive a pick up everywhere, I bought a fuel effecient Honda Civic for commuting and some work related stuff, when able to.

We cut back our hydro consumption, drastically.

We eat more organic and wild foods then we purchase.

We pick up more trash then we create when we go fishing or hunting.

This has saved me money...

And it didn't cost my neighbours a cent.

So what do I do now to force the Gov't and companies to join me, without costing my neighbours more money? I mean, if I want to go ahead and change the world, I should do so on my own dime. Not my neighbours, they might not be able to afford it.

Don't be silly. We rely on what we know and we rely on what the evidence points to, not what politicians, newsmedia, etc. steer us into.

Wrong.

Ya think? The globe isn't cooling.

If that were the case, there would no debate. In fact, the very jury that you don't give a damn about would make a clear determination that would support that position.
Wrong again. There are people that deny the world is round, that tomatoes aren't poisonous, that everything in the universe is not geocentric, etc. Deniers deny, regardless of the facts.

We did the same. Our total bill for electricity last year was about $325. Then we started bugging neighbors about rearranging their lifestyles to save money and clean air, water, etc.
After most people clean up, whoever forms the gov't will have to follow suit or we get others to form the gov't. Then the people that do form gov't pressure companies to clean up like BC did to Teck-Cominco and Celgar.

Oh I share what we've managed to do, and many of my friends and neighbours have followed suit.

The problem will rise, when the hydro companies have to jack their rates to keep the coffers full. Or pass on the cost of scheming, top the customers.

And who ultimately footed the bill?
