I guess in a way your analysis can be considered somewhat correct even if misguided. The arab world are the haves (they have the oil) and the US are the have-nots.
Have you checked the oil reserves in the United States lately, we have more oil reserves than any Arab country or combination of. Right now your right, the Arabs have more money than they know what to do with, but that is all changing now thanks to the Internet and a little Tunisian vender.

On re-read, you're correct....I misunderstood.

Sorry about that. I went off half-cocked.

No worries man, happens to us all sometimes.

We are not talking about strategic reserves sitting in big tanks, we are talking about oil in the ground and the US has less than 10% of known accessable oil but still use 70-75% of the global production. This is the disparity that gives cause to the imperialistic foriegn policy that puts america in places they should be and endangers the western world.

This is the oil reserve I was referring to, not the easy stuff. It is just a matter of time.

"Royal Dutch Shell, the international oil giant, thinks the solution to America's oil crisis may lie in the heart of Colorado. Since 1981, the company has quietly funded a multi-million dollar research project that many call a quest for energy's Holy Grail. The mission: to discover a way to safely and economically extract fuel from oil shale, a type of sedimentary rock found in Wyoming, Utah, and especially Colorado's Western Slope. The potential windfall is staggering. Studies over the years by industry and government alike estimate that there may be between 800 billion and more than one trillion barrels of oil locked up in these rocks--nearly three times the known reserves in Saudi Arabia. That would be enough oil to supply America for the next 400 years. "It's coming eventually. It's just a matter of when," say Roy McClung, mayor of Parachute, Colorado, a community in the heart of oil shale country."

...but what does it do to the groundwater?

That is a big problem, someday that we may find a way around it. That oil is in probably one of the most water poor areas in the country. I was just stating a fact that if the need is great enough and we have no alternate for of power it will be used.

WASHINGTON – The United States calls Osama bin Laden's death a potential "game changer" in Afghanistan, but has also begun to modulate its message for fear that runaway optimism will create pressure to suddenly exit a war still up for grabs.
The top U.S. commander in eastern Afghanistan sought to walk that fine line Tuesday. Army Maj. Gen. John Campbell told reporters at the Pentagon that he sees great potential for bin Laden's death to draw dispirited Taliban fighters away from the insurgency.
Videos of bin Laden that were captured in the raid on his compound and released by the U.S. government on Saturday depict a gray-bearded bin Laden wrapped in a blanket, watching himself on TV. Campbell described him as "alone and desperate" and said the image could send a powerful message to Taliban fighters who bear the brunt of combat while their leaders hide in Pakistan.

there is no 'his people' in existence, he isn't, and never has been a leader of any country,
just the opposite, he was thrown out of his birth country of saudi arabia, and decided to
take up residence in afghanistan, where he started his little 'terrorist training' school,
which many decided to attend, just a bunch of 'thugs', who attracted more thugs.

Obama: 'We Could Not Say Definitively That Bin Laden Was There'

Tuesday, 10 May 2011 07:02

'During his 60 Minutes interview with CBS News last night, Barack Obama admitted that US intelligence was only 55/45 confident that Bin Laden was even in the compound raided last Sunday night, fearing that the occupant could actually have been a “prince from Dubai,” a skepticism shared by residents of Abbottabad, one of whom told the BBC that the man seen watching television in the tapes released by the White House Saturday was in fact his neighbor, not Bin Laden.'

When you sober up, do you ever read the stuff you write when you're wasted? Maybe you could translate some of it for us. I'm sure you have something important to say but it gets lost in the transition to the keyboard.

Look who showed her face! Dancing LOOOOOON!

She's the one that said the Taliban boys looked so cute holding up peace signs that she just wanted to give them all a hug.

Being so daft as she is she has no idea that holding two fingers up (the so called peace sign) in the Middle East means VICTORY.

Loon... Sorry for your loss.
