Did it ever occur to you that the wealthy get the tax breaks because they pay the taxes? The poor already(rightfully) pay little or no taxes so how could they possibly qualify for a tax break?

Tax break? They want more free stuff... errrr... entitlements. FREE FREE FREE

Everyone wants more for less...how about the 20% break, a 15% tax instead of 35% on carried interest for managers and partners of private equity funds, venture capital funds, and hedge funds? Stock brokers, investment bankers, and financial planners don't get that break. Would hedge funds dissapear to another continent if they paid the same taxes as other capital investment firms?

I think not.

The idea was that managers of these funds would want to maximize performance...well who doesn't want to maximize performance? If you pay less taxes on what you earn, effectively you can take more risks in your investment portfolio. Risk isn't what the US economy needs more of...

The media loves trolling this shyte man. Americans (who seem to swallow every tidbit fed to their 'devices' ) should be telling these talking heads to knock it off and butt out. Report but don't instigate. Inform but cease the partisan group headgames.

Because some dork has a little hour 'talk' show they somehow have aquired the insight to help guide the leaderless masses.

Many put their wannabe 4chan mask on and hate or are repulsed the Tea Party (peaceful and clean) yet now there is a call for a hyperbolic Kent State moment for the manufactured sideshow they bark. Talk about hypocritical drama queens. Perhaps it will go too far and bite the MSM in the arse a good one.

Oh well, maybe there is a use for Lotion Man after all.

Oh well, maybe there is a use for Lotion Man after all.

Funny you mention him. I happened to be watching a clip of a guy interviewing protestors in NYC. One young man was talking and saying how he just got there the day before and how he's trying to spread a message of...

IN STEPS LOTION MAN!

Lotion Man mocks the lad and tells him to move along... which he obeys does sheepishly. Then Lotion Man says that he is a leader in the Occupy Wall St. Movement and most of the people don't know what their talking about. Too funny.

I hope nobody was planning on heading to Times Square this weekend. They're going to screw up that place this weekend.

Soon some of you will be introduced to the old fashioned power of labour for the first time, many won't survive the introduction. A mob can literally move a mountain. The question is. Has western labour been deemed surplus to the needs of the bankers? Floods have controlled crowds in the past and they are easy and cheap to arrange these days.

What would make more sense than these protests is every Canadian just buying the bare essentials to sustain life for three months and put the savings in a fund for retirement, thus killing two birds with one stone.
