"Republican Candidate" Extends Lead vs. Obama to 47% to 39%

Margin marks first statistically significant lead among registered voters

by Jeffrey M. Jones

PRINCETON, NJ -- Registered voters by a significant margin now say they are more likely to vote for the "Republican Party's candidate for president" than for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, 47% to 39%. Preferences had been fairly evenly divided this year in this test of Obama's re-election prospects.

Just take the last item: In the last two years we have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our entire nation's history. Over 27 times as fast. Metaphorically speaking, if you are driving in the right lane doing 65 MPH and a car rockets past you in the left lane. 27 times faster, it would be doing 1,755 MPH!

Harper likes Obama. Do you hear him bitching? Ever wonder why not?

Harper won a majority. He does NOT bitch.

Jimmy Jr. won the Presidency. Whenever he is not bragging about it, he still keeps on bitching.

Therein lies the difference between a leader and of boy sent to do a man's job.

A possible multi trillion dollar surplus and and creation of millions of jobs as happened under Clinton?

Yeah.....what a shame he championed the de-regulation that led to the fall.........

And the Democrats stood against McCain's efforts to forestall the fall in 2002.

They take turns.

Right now the Republicans are insane.....completely.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama
presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a
depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem
is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of
what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy
of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama,
who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of
fools such as those who made him their president.”

Obama: Americans Back Me on Debt Deal

Saturday, 16 July 2011 07:03

"My Republican friends have said that they're not willing to do revenues, and they have repeated that on several occasions," CBS News quoted Obama as saying at a news conference at the White House on Friday.

"My hope, though, is that they're listening not just to lobbyists or special interests here in Washington, but they're also listening to the American people. Because it turns out, poll after poll, many done by your organizations, show that it's not just Democrats who think we need to take a balanced approach, it's Republicans as well," he added.
The survey also revealed that another 30 percent of Americans wanted a deal that was "mostly" spending cuts, and 32 percent wanted a deal split equally between spending cuts and tax increases. Eleven percent favored a deal that was mostly or all tax increases.'

Wonder what his Jobs program will entail. Wonder why it had to wait till after Labor day -

Who know why. The Government can create jobs, but there all at the expense of the tax payers, does not bring in new cash. Private industry is the only way we can ever hope of adding new jobs that can get this economy up and running. We had Zero job growth in that sector in August.

Obama could put a duty on Chinese imports then you guys could stop shopping at Wallymart until they started paying their staff above the poverty line.
You know how many manufacturing jobs are done in China that were once done here just so you can get a toaster for 22.88 instead of 35 bucks? Almost all of them at this point.
