As I have said, the advantage is in law. Our law gives an advantage to one group. That is the issue I have. Whether any particular party does or doesn't make the most out of this advantage is not the point. The advantage should not exist.

This is a picture of the Marga Mulya Christin Church in Yogyakarta, Indonesia (a Muslim country). It only took me 10 seconds to find and to prove you wrong. Christ!!! It's like shooting fish in a barrel with you.

Here is the evangelical Christian Church in Timor

Indonesia, huh???

Far from being an apologist for muslims, I think pretty much all religion leaves much to be desired. I just get a kick out of the uneducated making fools of themselves. Please, carry on.

Best add yourself to the list. And it is a long list.

Wanna compare CVs, Dude???

If you are unable to deal with the debate, in which I blew both you and Gorewhatever completely out of the water on religious freedom in Muslim countries with only passing reference to religions not "of the book", I suggest you simply STFU instead of trying to be smug and insulting without introducing any new material to the debate.

Clear???

No, not clear at all. You make stupid statements. I post evidence that completely and utterly refutes said stupid statements and you suggest that I am unable to "deal with the debate". Just what type of debate are you having?

What "stupid statement"???

And then I proved it.....deal with it.

If you are unable to deal with the debate

He caught you with an assertion that is plainly not true. You made a blanket statement about Muslim countries which simply wasn't true, and then you accuse him of being an apologist who buries his head in the sand...

Then you suggest he shut the F up for being smug.

How about, "Yeah I was wrong, this is what I meant?"

That would be "dealing" with the debate...

It's suspect to me when someone has to use falsehoods in a debate, and won't admit to it when the fallacy is shown.

He is referring to Coply's post #404 in which he makes the following statement...

"Obviously you have never been in a Muslim country.....where Jews are persecuted and driven out, if not murdered, Chritians are not allowed to build churches, or to preach, and are regularly murdered, or their female children kidnapped, forced to convert and married off to Muslims."

I proved the statement false. He got pissy and told me to STFU and...well...you get the point

I was going to explain it to you but, what Tonington said works just as well. It's all explained in #414

Reading Comprehension, anyone???

What I said was EXACTLY this:

"Obviously you have never been in a Muslim country.....where Jews are persecuted and driven out, if not murdered, Chritians are not allowed to build churches, or to preach, and are regularly murdered, or their female children kidnapped, forced to convert and married off to Muslims."

SOMEHOW you translated that to mean EVERY Muslim country is overwhelmed with every evil listed, which is not at all what I said.

Although Saudi Arabia fits the bill perfectly, as does Pakistan, as did Afghanistan under the Taliban...........Egypt is going that way rapidly......

Then I said this.....

"Of course it depends on which country...........you are relatively safe in Turkey, less so in Indonesia, Egypt is becoming a problem, and you are treated not-so-well at all in the theocracies.......Iran, Saudi Arabia..........."

There is persecution in most, if not all other Muslim countries, to one or another extent.

But I would appreciate it if you attacked what I SAY, not the straw men you set up in your head......

No.....you don't understand the English language....read it again......and the post below.

I did NOT say EVERY Muslim country was like that......the meaning of the first post made doubly clear by my reference to degrees of persecution in the very next post.

Now, as soon as you are done making a damn fool of yourself by arguing with what I DIDN'T say, perhaps we could get back to the subject at hand.

I understand the English language quite well and read it numerous times. Maybe you just have a problem writing. No need to apologize I will accept your excuse that you really didn't mean to write what you wrote.Carry on.

Which was persecution of religious minorities.....which takes place, to an extreme degree in some, and to some degree in most Muslim countries.

I never get pissy.

So answer the question - In no way does this refer in anyway what so ever to all Muslim countries -

Now as to pissy - You had the audacity to tell me to Goggle what i already knew - i gave you a chance - Telling me that was just the same as you saying STFU to me. That is how i took it.

He caught you with an assertion that is plainly not true. You made a blanket statement about Muslim countries which simply wasn't true, and then you accuse him of being an apologist who buries his head in the sand...

Apology accepted.

As to the persecution of religious minorities, persecution of all types happens all over the developing world. It is a chicken and egg thing. Is the majority of the muslim world part of the developing world because of Islam or has Islam made inroads into the developing world? If it really mattered, I could give a list of non-muslim countries that have persecuting majorities or even a list of persecutions that have nothing to do with religion.
