BC has money to put flower boxes in the middle of Hwy 99 on the way up to Squish but no money for mental health patients?

Want to know the real reason they closed Riverview and cut patients loose?

Asbestos.

Blame the staff right? The attitudes of the professionals put asbestos in the buildings?

Riiiiight.

But hey, flower boxes and Olympics are more important to voters and resident of BC than doing what is right.?

If we want to see these incidents of kids being killed reduced, the solution is proper fundiing for health care not banning guns or building flower lined highways.

I partly agree with you, Petros, but to make an analogy, would you spend a few hundred thousand on a house but then scrimp on a thousand and not paint it? Everything we build should at least be attractive, even if only to lure the tourist dollars. I think with the mentally ill, leadership is needed even more than money. I bet with a few caring people in charge we could take the ones who are borderline and get them working and feeling better about themselves and soon they are an asset to society instead of a drag. That would ease the financial pressure, so there could be funding to treat the more seriously ill.

people have many different priorities in life, yours isn't theirs, theirs isn'tyours, etc. improvements
in life on this earth will move along according to 'who' wants 'what'.

the asbestos could have been removed, or a new riverview, and yes, also much improvement in the attitudes
of those in positions of care, and government.
who was caring about asbestos way back then.

Anyone remember anything about woodlands? Check on the kind of care going on there, disgusting in many
areas of that institution.

The money will not be available till there is such a demand from so many that it becomes an election
subject.

Olympics will take priority all over the world, and most countries will have same complaints as we do.

What you're saying is you don't really want to help them and you prefer to blame others and side isues that really aren't problem solvers.

Well, you get what you pay for, flower boxes and all.

Most people who do this stuff don't confess it before acting out. Your mindreading program won't be very effective.
Let's Call BullS#!T on your nonsense.

of course, the average joe would be able to get a hold of those things without a problem, right?
Right. I can buy complete compounds or the ingredients thereof at the local coop.

Seems like there is no logical debating with an illogical mind.
You've removed all doubt.

I had a cousin who spent most of his life in Woodlands but never did hear anything through him one way or the other, but I've heard pretty negative stuff since.

NRA says the good people with guns must protect the people from the bad people with guns and I say that the gun makers should go to jail when the guns kill people
roflmao You kill me every time you post that stupid idea. Wouldn't be a single vehicle manufacturer left outside of prison, along with knife manufacturers, baseball bat manufacturers, garden tool manufacturers, booze distillers, tobacco companies, fat-laden fast food companies, etc.

If the gun makers went to jail when their guns kill a person the innocent person kill rate would be a lot lower
And it gets more ridiculous and funny when you try supporting your inane gibberings.

It's easier to put together molotovs than round up guns and ammo.

....A buddy and I made some low-grade in science lab in jr. high one time.

Hopefully you will be able to figure this out: Deaths by autos are accidents. Not so with deaths by guns.
Some are, some aren't.

then why use a gun if these other things are easier?
Most mirderers have certain people in mind. Firearms are quite target specific, explosives are not.

in other words, bringing up other ways of killing besides guns is irrelevant as it is guns in particular that they want to use. So, that being said, remove guns from the scenario and this scenario never happens.
Myth generating? It's not really that hard to build a firearm in the backyard at home either. My next door neighbor built one before he died.

Gotta love politicians and the sheeple who keep their noses right close to pols' butts. Priorities kind of get mangled by them.

Yup! If you want to know from where or how to make, PM because I'm not going to post a DIY on here.

Same goes for C4. It's easier to make than you might think.

They are here. Might have to go to two stores though plus circuit city for timers. There are many other simple devices that are just a Google search away.

lol When the-powers-that-were visited Tranquille in Kamp Loops visited before they shut it down, we had a friend nursing there. She told us that some of the staff had spread choclate pudding around a few walls. One of the visiting powers-that-were evetually asked if the stuff on the walls was actually what they thought it was. A staff member stuck a finger in it and tasted it and said, "yup". Do I need mention what choc. pudding looks like when it has dried a bit? :D

Never heard of vehicular homicide??

How about stabbnigs??

If I use my Ginzu magic knife to cut someone into chopped liver, should the knife company be sued into non-existence???

How about Louisville Sluggers??

If someone clubs someone dead, should the manufacturer be sued??

You don't think this stuff through, do you??

Big surprise there.

Get your head out of your butt and reread my posts (that is if you can read) and you will see that I never said anything about suing gun manufacturers. So much for 3/4 of your post. Yes I have heard of vehicular homicide. Hmmm, when was the last time someone drove their vehicle through a school on a killing spree?

So when your car kills someone, the head honcho from the factory should be thrown in jail? Don't think that will "fly".-:)

Fussy bastards!

Yes, Sonny, I can read. And you are correct, you were not defending the suing of manufacturers, you were defending throwing them in jail.

Big difference, but it requires exactly the same intellectual inability to deal with reality.

So I've got an idea, you arrogant little pissant (buy a dictionary, I don't have the patience), and that is STFU until you either grow something faintly resembling a brain, or are ready to say good-bye.

Thank you for your attention.

I guess no one who has a job there wants to "stir the pot".
