I heard you where suppose to get something like 3ft of snow in a dump. A foot in an urban
setting can really mess things up (without the wind blowing it around either). If you can stay
home....warm & dry...do so. If you can't.....oh well.

Nuggler's Jeep sounds like a good option....but the Bro-in-Law might let you have his for the
right price, & you don't have to wait 'till Nuggler's Jeep hits 300K either. If you've gotta drive
in the mess it sounds like you're going to have to deal with, this is the way to go....uhm....
give me a few minutes & I'll take a quick picture of it.

Here! The Husky isn't a bad option for that kind'a weather either...

...& with that color scheme, you can always find it in the parking lot,,,,

That is exactly what has happened... a convergence of two storms. The one that came down from Canada and the one that swung up through our Mid-Atlantic states. They are meeting right over my head.

It's actually snowing pretty hard.

Yeah, I checked the weather on line, which I don't usually do until I have to actually work in it, and that is exactly what is happening. My #1 daughter's significant other works in snow clearing and has been advised he may be working 20 hours tomorrow. Meh, we'll see, I'm just gonna roll with it, except that "he" asked to use my urban assault vehicle if he needs it to get to work. Hmmm. 4X4's are great in the bush and getting you out of trouble, but they are like slow flying bullets that can get you into even more trouble, they like to travel in a straight line, right though the guardrails and into the bush. I don't trust his driving, even if he is from Saskatchewan.

Banning all driving is not making sense I agree. If the storm progressed to a certain
point where travel is completely unsafe on some roads that is done in Canada all the
time when its real bad. Banning it before the storm is certainly out there. I have been
on mandatory closed roads in the mountains under certain conditions and I can see
why in some circumstances they might but not in the case of a pending storm

Of course it doesn't make sense. They just love doing that... because they can.

One of the Governor's lapdogs said they put a ban on driving to just "make people aware" of the hazards.

You gotta love the Nanny State.

Did everyone have enough time to get to the gunshops, preparing for this martial snow-law?

Oh guns in Massachusetts have been out of play for a long time. We have some of the strictest gun laws in the country, just like Connecticut <cough>.

You have to jump through hoops to get a permit for a hunting rifle. If you want a pistol you have to ask your Cheif of police and they always say no. Then you have to take it up the ladder and then he will be told to grant you a pistol permit. But as I said... authorities love saying no here in Massachusetts because they can. Nevertheless... illegal guns are used in the cities of Massachusetts quite often.

Only cops and criminals have guns.

Which is why gun control is so useless.

Looks like you need a national ban, and even then it will take decades to clean up and make safer.

I'm working on a national ban on snow. Will need heaters installed 1200 feet above the ground.

Net snow clouds with aircraft and tow them to places that like or can handle snow.

anyone caught on the road can face up to a year in prison and a $500.00 fine..
$500 is about how much snow tires cost.
