I dunno I think being afraid to say sh_t even with a mouthful because it may offend some delicate flower is what constitutes pc, neither right nor left have monopoly on turning free speech into a test of courage. The down side is silence and differing opinions are allowed to polarize under pc whereas dialogue specially challenging dialogue can solve many differences. Pc is really an indifference to anything not main stream, cowardly politicians and bleeding heart apologists use it as a weapon on any that dare exercise free speech appending phobic or ist on them. How labeling those brave enough to speak their mind helps those impacted by injustice or intolerance escapes me.
I genuinely don't understand. Exactly what are the consequences of offending some delicate flower?
Reason I ask is I hear a lot of butthurt pinkies pissing and moaning about how "you can't say *whatever*" or "saying *whatever* is forbidden." Forbidden by whom? On pain of what punishment?
Or is your real problem the notion that if you practice your freedom of speech, somebody that don't like you might practice his?
We don't have freedom of speech in Canada, as long as the government can pass laws to restrict it .....and I ain't talking about yelling "fire" in a crowded building....
