I read some research not so long ago that pointed to the idea that good-looking people tended to be smarter, or maybe it was higher IQs. Can't remember exactly.
Who was it that said ......"But Suppose the Child Inherited My Beauty and Your Brains?"

Perhaps it was that good-looking people get by easier without smarts? I've met numerous people who were "picture perfect" but exceedingly vacuous.
Gotta compare things objectively here Goobs.
Still comes down to capacity to generate positive results.
Good looks may open doors, but do not have too much impact on what you do on that side of the door

Sure but then what qualifies as "attractive" is not only subjective (beauty being in the eye of the beholder and all that) but also can be wholly dependent upon how one carries themselves. Without getting into the whole 'beauty is on the inside' thing (which I do believe actually) if someone is well put together (trimmed, groomed, tidy) and presents themselves with confidence, that will usually read as attractive. Or if not outright as attractive then certainly not as unattractive.
To be able to present yourself with confidence, whether it's wholly one percent felt or not, suggests a certain level of intelligence.

But of course I've heard some pageant contenders that are able to express themselves very eloquently and show remarkable intelligence.
I think the bottom line is that the only way to find out how intelligent someone is would be to get to know them. Likewise, I'd probably say the same about their beauty as well.
