I'm not stating a fact here but I seem to remember that when Ronald Reagan and Nancy began their romance there was some kind of a scandal regarding infidelity. Whether it was on his side, her side or what the details were I don't remember. But I do remember some 'loose' talk.

The best people in the world likely have the most detractors. Ike was up there. I heard a story one time where every night before dropping off to sleep he said "Lord I did the best I could today". Whether it's truth or bull sh*t who knows?

I liked Franklin but sadly he was not faithful to Eleanor.

Apparently she had a couple of quirks that although acceptable today were not at the time.

Quote: "Who was the president of the US who was the most faithful to his wife"
And you took that to mean "Who was the president of the US who was the most faithful to his wife during his presidency?"

In that case, it's William Henry Harrison. Inaugurated March 4, 1841, deader'n a mackerel April 4, 1841. If he managed any hanky-panky in the White House, he did it damn quick.

By the way, Ludlow mentioned children too.

These are the Us Presidents known to have had extra-marital affairs: Eisenhower, Harding, Wilson, Garfield, Bush Sr., Johnson, Cleveland, Washington, Buchanan, F.D. Roosevelt. So that would make every other US president a great leader.

Barack Obama. You know the right would've been trying to dig up dirt on him from every time in his life. Found absolutely nothing.
