That's just to start with, it's pretty clear the current conservative government could care less about showing any respect for open and honest government.

And then there was this affair that took closing Parliament to save Peter MacKay from losing his cabinet post.

Not only does the Harper government not like sharing facts with Canadians, it also loves to punish officials who are trying to do their duty.

And this is a great way to run a democratically elected House.

I saw the interview with Trudeau last night on CBC, it's true what they say about him, he's sallow, has no substance and still a dreamer like his mother..

The Conservatives are doing a good job exposing him for what he really is..a bimbo!!

You mean padding their pockets at the expense of Canadians. I guess you missed that whole ADSCAM thingy huh.

From at least Turdo on the Liberals sole mission was to flense the taxpayer for their own benefit. Probably even before Trudeau but I am to young to remember much farther back.

That is demeaning to bimbos everywhere. Better hope one of them doesn't drag you before a HR court.

Not sure what his complexion has to do with anything.

How about giving the rest of Canada a chance to get to know Justin Trudeau before you begin the inevitable character assassination.

And if Trudeau is dreaming of a better Canada where citizens are actually respected then dream on I say.

Harper's got his feet firmly planted in the muck and he's trying to drag the rest of us in with him, it would be nice to have a PM that offers a better option to the constantly showing how small and mean spirited people can be.

I didn't agree with his politics, but I admired his intestinal fortitude when it came to standing up for that which he believed. ie: Just watch me.

And, like Colpy, the whole peeing on the leg is a joke.

Better check with Colpy. I'm not so sure bout the joke thing.

If they have a Thatcher statue in the same place, I'll go with y'all.

You clearly know nothing about economics or business !!

And just what do you mean when you say "citizens are actually respected" ? Just what the hell does this mean, does this mean just because an ignoramus like you has not respect, you want the Government to wipe your axs for you?

Harper firming planted in the muck?? More stupidity from a low life!! Got any metrix dumbo to support your stupidity??

The fact that you can't grasp that it is both utterly inane and offensive to compare any Prime Minister of Canada to child murderers..

Take it up with the National Post

.well in the immortal words of Marge Gunderson, "I just don't understand it."

Like that's a surprise coming from you... I'd wager that there is lots that you don't understand

The loathing that squirms in your head must be horrible to wake up to.

Tories take heat in House on science policy, closing research station - The Globe and Mail A research station is closing to safe money. The horror. I remember the Liberals sending troops into battle zones with Vietnam Era Body Armor and fiberglass Bombardier garbage to save a buck. Ask WO Martineau how feels to be shot by a sniper and put in a wheelchair when on a Peacekeeping mission with sh!t equipment.

That's just to start with, it's pretty clear the current conservative government could care less about showing any respect for open and honest government.

The Afghan Detainee issue is the Left looking for a scandal at the expense of the soldiers (my son included) who served over there, after being put there by the Liberals (Ill Equipped I might add.)

What the Afghans do with their prisoners is not the responsibility of Canada it's the responsibility of the Afghan government. What a load of hooey.

and the problem is???????? I agree with everything he had to say concerning Boston. We need to be more than reactive. We need, as a society and as a race, to get to the root causes and find a way to eliminate those causes.

It seems silly to have to tell someone that the appropriate response to a debate on federal debt during various administrations is not "Trudeau was worse than Clifford Olsen and Paul Bernardo." Even sillier that you make such an odious comparison--several times, actually--and then spend pages upon pages trying to convince--whom exactly?--that it was me that made them.

My psychological health is fine, thanks. Your concern is appreciated but--like your response to former Prime Minsiter Trudeau--a tad overwrought.

So, out of interest then, where do you stand? Was Pierre Trudeau worse than Clifford Olsen? Enquiring minds want to know...

" Dividing Humans Against Ourselves...They're not like US...In order to achieve our political goals, we can kill innocents here...That's something that no society, in the world, that is healthy, regardless of ideology, will accept "

- Why is Trudeau's speech causing such a political reaction among political parties in Canada ?

Is it because his speech is Straight Forward; Honest, Opinionated, Direct to the Question/Issue/Point, that other parties are taking issue with his remarks ?

I don't know...Just Sounds like Good, Young, Edgy Leadership to me.

Myself I know what I find distasteful about Harper, not a short list- Justin also has a number of black marks- Now I will wait and see if and or how the machine polishes him- then I will take it from there.
