I don't post for thumbs up or down. I'm not motivated by praise and I'm not detracted by disdain. I'm only interested in the facts. Just the facts.
So, are you saying you have information that this "hate site" made up the story, and that it's not true? If so, please enlighten me, I'd be very interested. If not, what difference does the bias of the site make? Also, your beef should be with google, not me.
Of course not, didn't you know that Israel is an ethnically cleansed apartheid state? Get with it, man!
The story is true, but your source is deliberately manipulative.
The murders were carried out by two extremely angry Palestinian teenagers. Nothing can justify their actions, but context is important. The residents have Itamar (an illegal settlement in the West bank, populated mostly by Jewish extremists) have murdered Palestinians and vandalized their property for years. As far as I know, Israeli authorities have never held any of the residents of Itamar accountable for any of their criminal activities including murdering Palestinian children. Israeli soldiers and police have also killed Palestinians who were defending themselves and/or their property from attacks by Itamar settlers.
Before the attack, two Palestinian teenagers tried to acquire weapons from local militant groups, but they were rebuffed. So they went into Itamar armed only with knives and broke into an empty house where they acquired firearms. The went to the next house and murdered everyone in the house including a baby. These horrendous murders by two individuals are now frequently referenced as justification whenever Israeli criminals commit their own horrendous atrocities.
Some additional facts::
1) These youths acted on their own, not in affiliation or with the assistance of any Palestinian militant group.
2) The overwhelming majority of Palestinians oppose these murders and nearly all Palestinian officials have condemned this massacre.
Your referenced story omits the above "facts" and instead only reported a few select facts to create an impression that many/most Palestinians approve of this massacre. The opinions expressed by the murderer's relatives in a television interview with a sympathetic host are not mainstream Palestinian opinion.. If your source was fair and balanced they would have pointed out that most Palestinians were shocked by these murders and consider these crimes to be unjustifiable atrocities, like most people familiar with this massacre.
Here is the official PA statement regarding these murder:
On March 15, 2011, the PLO Executive Committee announced:
"We call on Israeli public opinion to be fully confident that the Palestinian people and its leadership, who are subject to barbaric occupation and to ongoing daily oppression, do not remain silent when crimes are committed against a family or individual – especially the recent crime against the Israeli family, even if they were settlers."
They also noted:
"Netanyahu has exploited this crime in malicious and disgraceful ways in order to allow more construction projects in the settlements and to encourage the settlers, who are protected by the occupation army, to bully and attack the Palestinian cities and villages, and also to carry out the basest forms of terrorism against our people."
Editorial from a prominent Palestinian newspaper:
"We know that the soldiers of the occupation kill, and that the settlers commit crimes, violate humane and international laws, and perpetrate crimes against humanity – but we will not let anyone push us down that slope. It is vitally important for us to prevent the collapse of [our] system of moral values... Getting caught up in an unconsidered [cycle] of bloody vengeance would be rebellion against the values of the Palestinian people, and doing so must be opposed and disgorged by us. The people have a record rife with clashes and battles against the invaders and occupiers, who are armed from head to toe. A man is a man, even he always has the advantage in all things connected to equipment and arms. We have never allowed the sanctity of children's [lives] to be violated..." ""...There is no room for argument. Stabbing an infant to death is a crime against humanity. Whoever did this was insane, or charged with racist assumptions. This is not nationalist; there is no connection between the murder of the infant in the settlement of Itamar and the values of our people's struggle...." ..."We must not return to the armed struggle. We are convinced that it is inappropriate for our circumstances and in the present reality. Nonviolent popular resistance is the most suitable and effective, but we intend to be vigilant and wary, not only of the danger of falling into the trap of our resistance being turned into terror and crime, in light of the increased official and popular international support for legitimate nonviolent resistance – but also of our own fear for ourselves and of ourselves..."
another Palestinian Editorial:
"We had the courage to condemn the murder of the children, but we certainly do not expect the occupation to condemn the murders that it has committed, or the destruction and the ethnic cleansing it has carried out and is currently carrying out. One hundred meters west of the Neveh Tsuf settlement, which was established on the lands of Dir Nazam and Nabi Saleh and which is where the children of Itamar are being consoled, a boy from Dir Nazam's Tamimi family was killed in gunfire by the occupation,"....

I am not claiming that all Palestinians have condemned the attack. Its true that a minority of Palestinians feel that all settlers are legitimate targets... including children and babies. Hamas for example praised the attack as a legitimate reaction to the criminal activities of Itamar residents.
IMO, this atrocity cannot be justified. But its also wrong to exploit these senseless and gruesome murders to continue to oppress Palestinians, all but two of which had nothing to do with these murders or use it as justification for ethnic cleansing and the other injustices and crimes suffered by the Palestinian people.
