I was just looking at his profile on Wikipedia and it has his religion listed as Christian, which I find very surprising. I thought for sure it was going to say the other thing... I hope it's true. :)

I'm not sure why "Christian" would be surprising, as I always thought a Christian has concern for his fellow man!

Sad for your passing, Jack.

(start another thread, if those who would disparage him aren't lacking decency)

You've never noticed that Christians tend to be conservative and atheists more liberal or left?

Hello!!!!

No.............that is mainly a pile of garbage proposed by S.J.P.

Liberals are overwhelmingly Christian as well as Jewish.

Opinions need to be based on reality to be valid.

Actually, Petros, I have a bit of a philosophy regarding debate. With debate we are trying to END UP with the right answers, but it can start anywhere. It's like we are all trying to get to the North Pole while some of us may start out at the SOUTH pole, but the smart ones don't stop there. Savvy?

It is a sad day for Canada that Jack is gone.

It is even sadder that religion had to be dragged into this thread. It has no place in politics.

Your mom was right to have an abortion. Too bad it lived to grow up and get married to a gay Palestinian. Maybe that is a good thing. It won't breed.

I'm not sure that Tommy Douglas would have agreed with you.
Did Tommy ever use another politicians religion to bludgeon him? I doubt Tommy would slander a man he disagreed with or who had a different religious belief.

Like I have said, politics is a joke to me but whenever I saw Jack, I saw a man of dignity and integrity, proud and articulate. He believed in what he fought for.

If it wasn't for that preacher man from Weyburn, alwayz wold have to pay through the ass for his Risperidone.

I believe in the separation of church and state. There are a multitude of religions in Canada and it would be a sad day if any one of them should dominate the political landscape.
Those Mormosexuals being one of them.

There, you've hit the nail on the head!
