You'll have to quote me on that one. For the record I oppose all war crimes, including those directed at Israeli citizens. That would include firing rockets and mortars in the general direction of civilians. I have never expressed a support for a single act of violence directed at anyone in this conflict. My position has always been that all war criminals should be held accountable for their war crimes. I consider people to be hypocritical if they selectively condemn some war crimes but never condemn others based on nationality, religion, race...

I'm fairly certain the ISM as a non-violent resistance organization has never used violence in any of their activities, even in self defense... and they've certainly never been responsible for a terrorist attack. I would only support the ISM non-violent resistance activities in support of Palestinian freedom and justice.

BTW, I sleep well at night knowing that I always try to do no harm. I consider creating an erroneous perception that the ISM is an armed terrorist group when in fact they are non-violent and unarmed to be harmful.

IMO, claiming that an unarmed non-violent organization is armed and violent is not that different than claiming a crowded theater is on fire when it isn't. I support your right to express opinions, even ones I don't like, up until it potentially endangers lives. Members of the ISM who participate in non-violent resistance in support of Palestinian freedom and justice already play a dangerous game with the IDF. Many unarmed, non-violent ISM have already suffered serious injuries, including death. Rachel Corrie isn't the only casualty, just the best known one. Using lies and deceptions to deliberately increase the dangers faced by ISM members when they face off against armed soldiers crosses a line, IMO.

If a lie is repeated often enough, eventually it will be perceived as the truth. I find Kaplan's deliberately erroneous claims about the ISM offensive, not just because they are bold faced lies, but also because they increase the risk to unarmed non-violent ISM members. Repeating Kaplan's lies magnify the effect of Kaplan's lies.
